ST Xavier's Kolkata Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

I am pursuing Chartered Account course. I stay in kolkata and wanted to join good college in Kolkata only so that I could pursue the course with graduation. St Xavier's College being a reputed institution I decided to join it. It's college timing and opportunities it provides was the best for me to pursue CA along with College.

Timing as I get the whole day free, although 6 am college is a bit tiresome but it rewards you with the whole day to do whatever you want. Other than this I get amazing opportunities through various societies, sports clubs, diverse population. The facilities and faculty is also one of the reasons, along with a great reputation. The reputation and brand name the college has was also a driving factor. Although the college should be a lot more lenient with the strict rules. To sum it up, the reputation, opportunities to simulation and improve yourself, variety and variations in activities along with highly competitive environment pushes you to be at your best.

Bcz it is a good and we'll know college, it is also in my hometown. Xaviers also provides a lot of opportunities in the field of sports and it has a good placement cell as well. Over all it a good college

The college was closer to my hometown compared to other colleges. I had seniors studying here the same course in this college. Sports was given enough importance in this college. Sports activities all throughout the year.

Family pressure.I have no interest in joining my college but I did.it's not a good college for those who does more than studies.but if you only aspire to study is a ok college.but for me it's the most shittiest college

I am a CA aspirant but I wanted to have an undergrad degree and wanted to experience the college life, so SXC was the perfect choice because it is in my home town and it is one of the most prestigious colleges that we have in our country. The timings that we have (6 am to 9:50 am) was one of the factors as well that motivated me to join this college as it complements my CA tuitions and plus you're going to remember that you woke up at 4:30 am for three years for the rest of your life.

The discipline the college builds in its students is well known and hence works out to give a brand name on your cv.It is said to be the no. 1 college in kolkata & stands out to be the top 7th college for commerce in the country. It was my dream to join this college.

One of the best institutions in India. the rankings of this college is on top as it is currently at 7th position. Many seniors were already there from my school. Close to my home. Less travelling time and a good environment for me. Promotes sports and personality development

It's the best for Commerce and it has huge brand value to it and many sports activities also.The faculty were experienced and very good.They've had the commerce morning course since 1970's and is still a tradition.its an early morning college starts from 6am to 10am

St. Xavier's College has become one of the best in the India and Asia. It has top professors and is located in the middle of a historic city, and accessible to everything. It has a strong international relations program which would be perfect for me since I have attended a diverse international school. I noticed all these things when I was studying in St. Xavier's Collegiate School. St. Xavier's notable reputation and history, it's everyone's dream to study here.
