Placement Experience:

Placement is available for final year students. The average package is around 12 lakhs. Companies like Accenture, McKinsey, Xander, etc come for the placements and get a decent number of people, especially from Economics and sciences course

Placement Experience:

Placements were always good at Stephen's and they have touched new heights since the pandemic and online work from home culture came in. Nearly 80% students of students who sit for placements get placed.

Placement Experience:

Final year students can apply to various companies for placements and before that campus placement cell provides opportunities for internships. Paid and unpaid also. Information regarding the highest and average packages can be found on the college website and as I am a second-year student I don't have much information regarding them.

Placement Experience:

The students are eligible for placements after the 5th semester ends. Many companies offer placements for all the students, irrespective of the course. Many famous companies, such as Morgan Stanley, and McKinsey and company recruit students from the college for placements. The highest base value package for the year 2020-21 was 25LPA, and the average base value package was 8.8LPA. Most of the students who apply for the placements are accepted. This is because most of the students opt for higher studies, rather than placement. Some students, due to family issues, opt to take the placements. After the degree, I also plan on taking the placement offered by the college, because I am currently suffering from a financial crisis.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Even during my early schooling, I had always been intereted in the field of physics and I just knew i had to pursue it as my career. So i decided to take Physics Hons. The faculty in the college is at par with the knowledge required and they help the students in the best ways possible. Teacher also record the live classes and upload on youtube so that students who missed can learn from them later. The faculty student ratio is about 1:25. According the regulations of the Delhi University, the term exams are conducted twice a year and are quite easy to pass

Placement Experience:

There are some very good placements from the college but that is course dependent. In my course, around 10 people got placed out of 30. Groups like McKinsey or Bain come to our college for their placements. But again, it's mostly depended on your profile.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose Economics Hons. because I have a deep interest in this field. Moreover, this subject is very demanding in today's world. The placement provided in this area is very good. It is one of the most valuable courses of DU. Apart from this, it would help in clearing the UPSC exams. There are 62 students per class. The teachers are really supportive and they bring out the best in us. The only limitations being that they're a bit strict. The exams were online so I had no problem clearing them. We were trained beforehand about the do's and don'ts by the faculty.

Placement Experience:

We have a campus placement cell that handles all the companies coming in for placements and internships. It is active throughout and we have internships coming in all year round. In third year we become eligible for placements. CPC verfies our resume or CV in various steps and then they are sent to companies we are interested in. We have interviews then if we are selected we are informed. The placement ratio and the packages are good. I'm going for masters at IITD through IIT JAM.

Placement Experience:

The placements for BA Program in particular are slightly lower as compared to other courses. Most students from the course opt for higher studies but the few who choose to sit for placements find it hard to land a job. Campus placements start in 5th semester and continue for the entire final year. A student is free to sit for as many companies as they like, as long as they meet the eligibility criteria like CGPA, course, etc. Most companies hire a maximum of 4 students owing to the small population of students at St. Stephen's. The highest package in 2021 was 18LPA and the average package is about 6 LPA-8 LPA.
