College provides great placement opportunities or you could get pre-sponsorship if you are good enough or a sports player(the higher level you played the higher the chance of placement). The minimum recommended percentage is 65% in 12th and in btech about 75 or above.

The college has a good placement record. Almost 85% of students get placed. The students become eligible for placement in the third year. There are no fixed packages and none of the sites has mentioned the salary packages. But students get an average package of 2 lakhs. The person who has given a backlogged exam would face difficulty in getting placed. Rest, there is no such percentage kind of eligibility for sitting in placement. If I get placed in the campus placement, then I will be joining a shipping company as a trainee engineer.

Because it's one of the best marine college in india and it also have ship in campus which is the most important for marine engineering students. I opted this course because I dont want to do a corporate job

No everything is good unless you are not working on your studies. This is a good platform for marine engineers. you can do this 1 year GME Course and can be able to view the world for free while in working.

According to me It's very good college. People have their own review on the college but I have my own experiences. So i will recommend this college for Marine engineering. Also it is near from the capital Delhi. No language problem.

Placement is good very companies come here with a lot of vacancies but u need to be intelligent as the question asked are very tough and also very challenging.

Overall it is a good college which gives us a very great platform for living and studying abroad as well as in here. It gives us a good time in the college.
