Faculty was quite cooperative including non teaching staff
Dislikes
Quality education is missing. Old techniques are being used and there is less student-teacher interaction on important topics.
Faculty:
The faculty-to-student ratio is around 38:1.
The faculty-student relationship is quite good; they are friendly in nature and quite helpful. They are ready to help in any given circumstance.
I liked some of the faculty members because of their good nature and conpassionate character.
There were some whom I didn't like because of their behavior, but I am not able to recall their names.
There are semester-wise exams—two exams per year for most of the courses. Exams are not difficult but are not easy either. Students usually pass the exams but sometimes the result goes the other way. Course curriculum is good, competitive however it is not followed to the fullest.
There are two semesters in one year and six semesters in three years. Syllabus is very lengthy. But at even semesters students have short time for their revision of their papers so some get pass and some get fail. So I think syllabus may be short for all students because some are capable for tough syllabus and some are not...
Books are easily available from the teachers as well as from the library.
Teachers are very friendly and help each and every student in every aspect of study.
Faculty:
There are more than 200 students in each faculty and there are friendly relations between each faculty like there is no difference. Computer department is the best faculty in my opinion and in Batala most students are opting BCA from Sl Bawa college. Each semester has approx. 5-6 exams excluding practicals. The difficulty level of exams varys from subject to subject but it is mostly moderate.
