PSGCAS Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

The placements were okay in our college, it starts from the second year onwards in respect to diff degree. For economics it starts from 5th semester onwards. There were many companies who visited including goldman sachs, deloitte, zoho, tcs, accenture etc. and the package starts from 1,20,000 to 12,00,000 rupees per annum.

Course curriculum is not much relevant. Though teaching methods are good course curriculum is not upto the mark . Courses curriculum should include more chapters that are relevant to the course . Exams are easy .

From final year onwards students are eligible for placements. Manu corporate companies visit like Deloitte, Accenture, EY etc.. To be honest there is no wide variety of opportunities for placements in economics department unlike computer science or bcom departments.

More than 50% of students who attend interview are placed. They provide bothcore and non-core company offers. The package also varies depending on the course and the company you select. Various companies visit every year for providing work.

•The students are eligible for the campus placements for their final year of their course. • The top most reputed companies like TATA, wipro,etc.. Will visit the campus and pick the best students as per their requirements.. •The average salary package is around Rs. 7lakhs/ annum and each students can apply as much as they can according to the schedule of the placement. •Their will be a seperate PLACEMENT CELL which will help students for placement registration and they will give trainings and classes for the placements?.. •The percentage of students getting placement is around 60-70?.

3 semesters become eligible for campus placement. Focus traumatic and the number of offers is 3. The highest package is 40000. Percentage of students getting placement above 60. Plans after getting a degree above 60.
