It's great to hear that 40% of students secure internships with companies like rocket accounting, brevistay, and m8 solutions.
Faculties are very good, kind and will give many ideas after ug.
Surrounding and environment is peaceful and neat. most of the facilities are good

Dislikes

Sometimes some of the wardens may behave rude
Attendance should be more than 75%. Or else problem arise for writing semester exams.
The football fields condition is pretty bad due to a lack of maintenance

Collecting more fees which I thought it is very high
Forcing students to collect plastics more than in amount that they can't collect
Teaching of teachers is not good as the name psg have..

This course is useful in analysing the data in companies and performing it using technical skills. It is very useful in daily applications too.. It could be very useful if this course is available in all other colleges too.. Difficulty level of the exams here is medium only..

The thing I mostly liked about this college is the environment. They maintain a good environment for students.
Conducting many programs to enrich the best among students. They try to focus on the carrier of the students.
Have many clubs and motivate. Students to join the club to develop their skills .

Dislikes

Little more expensive. As I am from the south side of Tamilnadu it seems very expensive here in. Coimbatore
Mainly I do not hate any thing about this college.
Forcefully need to be follow the demanded rule .

PSG CAS A LOCAL PARADISE

Friendly faculties who take care of us like their own kids and many interactive events and competitions taking place in our college is one of the best in the college.
The non working staffs who are the pillar of our college managing almost everything starting from discipline
many extracurricular activities and events taking place helping in interacting and making friends from different departments

Dislikes

Infrastructure is not very satisfactory as it is a very old building and desks are not very modern
placement packages as very low and not very high and satisfying the placement opted students
Seed classes could have planned differently and that might actually help the students rather than just a four day compulsion

Placement Experience:

There are several companies approaching our college for various departments and the packages are pretty decent for a UG but for a PG the packages are not very high there's a 100% placement in our college and they stick to the promise and do justice.

College timings in my department is tailored to help the students fous on their career in ca cma and cs
My course syllabus is in par with ca study material given by icai
Campus infrastructure is great and staffs are well equipped

Placement Experience:

Placement is quite good at PSG cas when compared to other colleges u can get a maximum placement of 10 lakh lpa for bcom degree and average placement is 6 lakh lpa . Big companies like ey, Accenture, Deloitte, KPMG and various other companies come for placement

My perspective

Likes

Teaching methods are quite engaging and interactive, we have debates over general topics and engage ourselves with fun activities and understand the environment more in depth in different perspectives and share them with others in healthy way
The students are very supportive and it is very easy to adapt here and mingle with them . It has lot of fun , we get an opportunity to know various cultures and diversities and respect each other and foster them without chaos
The number of holidays granted per year is greater than other arts and science college around the locality which helps us to engage ourselves in other activities too

Dislikes

Every information has to be passed in an proper channel which could be sometimes time consuming and the students may feel loss of interest
The attendance is strict and we have marks for it to enhance the presence of students in classes but sometimes it could feel uncomfortable since it also affects final results in academic performance
The dress code for each department is different. But the dress code is strictly followed to maintain decorum and safety

Placement Experience:

Generally for psychology degree, there are very few placements after the bachelor degree were that are also deviated from the core objective. My college offers no core placement for psychology only 1% ppt placements whereas majority of the students opt higher studies in abroad since the salary and scope for our degrees is high in foreign countries than here. Iam planning to take part in CUET (Psychology PG) or planning to do my masters in Ireland with my brother who is currently there

Things i disliked in this college is you’’ll have the semester continuously without a day holiday
No nearby shops available nearby college
The college has quite little auditoriums

From Classroom to Career : "My college story"

The infrastructure of the college was excellent. There are lot more facilities which the students could accommodate and the campus is huge which is very sophisticated.
The faculties were exquisitely knowledgeable and very experienced. The scholars can also get many opportunities by the use of faculties
The placements were spelendid as the companies coming up offers minimum 8 lpa to 12 lpa for ug students. The pg sectors excels in placements.

Dislikes

There is a dresscode implemented from 2020 onwards it is a small problem out there which the students feel uncomfortable and stressed out
The placements awareness has to be implemented among students and the classes should be conducted for encouraging the students who desires to become entrepreneur

Placement Experience:

From 5 th semester onwards students are eligible for the campus placements and the college trains them with aptitude and communication processes. The famous companies include Deloitte, Goldman Sachs, TCS etc.., The highest pay is around 12lpa and the average would be around 4 lpa The percentage of the students would be 85 to 95% those who were getting placed After my degree my plan is to do higher studies

I hav completed my ug at 2021 i left 1 year gap for doing job in medical coding now I hav applied for pg in PSG will I get because of that 1 year gape im asking

You need to submit the gap certificate when you apply for admission. PSG College of Arts and Science, Coimbatore provides admission to the various undergraduate, postgraduate, and Ph.D. courses along with Diploma, and integrated PG courses. The admission criteria for each course are different. Please mention the course to get the exact details.
