It's great to hear that 40% of students secure internships with companies like rocket accounting, brevistay, and m8 solutions.
Faculties are very good, kind and will give many ideas after ug.
Surrounding and environment is peaceful and neat. most of the facilities are good

Dislikes

Sometimes some of the wardens may behave rude
Attendance should be more than 75%. Or else problem arise for writing semester exams.
The football fields condition is pretty bad due to a lack of maintenance

Staffs were really friendly and supportive
Classroom atmosphere is good and we had many interactive sessions

Dislikes

They do have soft skill development programs which is of no use
The canteen: you can't see anything that is good same menu for all day

Course Curriculum Overview:

They do provide interships. However the duration for the interships is less maybe you can get an insight about the course in practical life. Viva will be conducted for the internship and in the final sem students should submit their projects.

Atmospheric nature are like to much this..
Food is good and dietry food is provided..
Hostel facilities are good and the class will be an smart room is there

Dislikes

Hostel timing is not liked for boys for entry in night time for before 8.00pm
Hostel gate closed for 9.00 pm...but the college main gate was closed by 8.00 has to chaged for few months ago

Placement Experience:

Teh placement is there in UG and Pg ..The placement has been started ifor UG in 3 year for 5 semester was started in training program..after the completeing the traininv program then will be started for the placement..and PG is final year is started for the placements..

Placement is good , 3 lakhs per annum is the minimum salary for this company ,the maximum salary is 11 lakhs per annum

The best college in coimbatore

Likes

Our college always have the best culturals
People here are really very supportive for our career like they support for any of the hardwork we do
The best college in CBE . Yes it is for sure.

Dislikes

We literally don't have any iv at all , even if we plan for a private iv there's something bothering the staffs
We have to complete some totally unnecessary extra components like typewriting and other course paper just for the sake of one degree
We actually get only 15 mins of break in the total 5 hours of class

As said before the placements here are really good and even a student with arrears get placed after they clear the backlog and this is really good and every student after studying in this college get a lot of experience and can be a very good employee.

About PSG College of Arts and Science

Likes

The experience u get in psgcas is very different.You will get to explore many types of people and you will gain knowledge from them
You will get to participate in many events like heartbeat euphoria which are very very fun
You can join in many clubs like rotaract cine club

Dislikes

The fees is high compared to other colleges in Coimbatore
The placement cell is very strict and you will have to work very hard to get placed
The inside hostel is not that good yet not bad.You will have to adjust to the food and room

The curriculum prepares us for the real world applications.You get to learn all programming languages The curriculum is on point u get to know all languages and u get to work on computer The lab facility in psgcas is pretty good.U will learn coding pretty well The examinations conducted are not difficult

My college dairy

Likes

The things I liked means the good reputated companies are come to campus placement
Then I like the college surroundings and environment
Then I like my course because I'm more interested in commerce so I able to explore and my college also help me to do things

Dislikes

There are certain rules and regulations to follow
My hostel were located in inside the college campuses there also many rules those are not able to tolerate
Then my college timings were early so I dislike those thing's

Placement Experience:

My college provide placement and it is more useful to build our career in easy way because now a days it is not easy to get job. From 5 semester starting they are eligible for placement and I visited 5 more companies till the day and I got selected 2nd round that is GD for two companies but unfortunately I'm not selected. The highest package is 600000 and average package is 300000. 100% of students got placed in campus placement. My only plan is getting job through campus placement after my degrees

PSGCAS, up and down the road.

Likes

The one thing that impressed me was the timings of the college. It was so flexible that even people from long distances could easily make up and down every day.
It was such a big campus in psgcas with an peaceful environment. They always had place for art and creativity(clubs) and that made me more humane.
The faculties were all experienced and over all had good teaching methods. They had face prep training for placement classes, which is a compulsory component.

Dislikes

The lab facilities could have been a little better with more of latest equipments.
The restrooms were very far away from a few departments, which made some days difficult.
The events that take place with such a big crowd always make a mess at the end.

Placement Experience:

In the final year of the degree, students can either option for placements or higher studies. They have various training programs and companies visiting them every year. Some of the companies visited were Accenture, Deloitte, face prep etc.. and they offered the most basic packages. The highest would be around Rs.5L and the lowest around Rs.2L to 3L per year. Yearly around 10% of students option for placement opportunities. I'm planning on doing higher studies further.

Life in PSG CAS

Likes

Teachers were very friendly and they had good knowledge on subjects and were dedicated.
Classrooms and campus was well maintained, canteen food was good at the price
Placements were good and many got placed too, there were many decent companies with good pay at that time (2008)

Dislikes

I feel like it was private park, were many students dint come to study
Need more practical knowledge and exposure

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculam was very much relavent to the university standards and were much interesting as faculties handled in an interactive way. To me more and more practical classes was missing and faculties needs to be updated always.

Good place, provides Good knowlege and career

Likes

Good infrastruce, friendly and experienced staff
Hostel are very neat and clean, there are many function for hostel students, Hostel food are very well preserved and faculty are good as for the students.
Canteen us amazing, lots of books there are in library to gain knowledge, gym are provided for both girls and boys, there are many extra curricular activitee like dancing, sports, music etc.

Dislikes

Sometimes some of the wardens may behave rude

I have choosed this course for my career and the faculty was such an amazing and the qualification of the faculty are mastered in their career and teaching of the teachers was in polite manner ,they were clear all our doubts in correct way.The exams was easy to get pass.

My life at PSG Arts

Likes

Infrastructure is good. Nice environment with more trees and all.
Cultural programs are good. They concentrate on cultural and balance with the academic.
Faculties are friendly and compassionate. They help with all.

Dislikes

Attendance should be more than 75%. Or else problem arise for writing semester exams.

Placement Experience:

More than 50% of students who attend interview are placed. They provide bothcore and non-core company offers. The package also varies depending on the course and the company you select. Various companies visit every year for providing work.

I hav completed my ug at 2021 i left 1 year gap for doing job in medical coding now I hav applied for pg in PSG will I get because of that 1 year gape im asking

You need to submit the gap certificate when you apply for admission. PSG College of Arts and Science, Coimbatore provides admission to the various undergraduate, postgraduate, and Ph.D. courses along with Diploma, and integrated PG courses. The admission criteria for each course are different. Please mention the course to get the exact details.
