Admission to SMVTIM is granted in accordance with the rules and regulations enforced by the Govt. of Karnataka from time to time. Aspiring students shall take up the Common Entrance Test (CET) conducted by Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) and get admitted through the CET Counseling process. A few management seats are also available in the institution.

Fees and Financial Aid:

Management seats are for 150000 for our stream and if you entrr through CET then you need to pay only 90000. Scholarships are available. Those who meet the candidate requirements..they can apply for particular scholarships.

Fees and Financial Aid:

The govt fees were 59000 and the college fees were 25000 . I got scholarship from govt like epass nsp etc.. are provided which provide most of the fees required for the college. I took loan of 300000 for the college which is fair enough.

As I was from SNQ quota which will be received by the first 7 people who have the lowest rank in KCET which costs 4000 in the first year and zero from the second the CET quota exits 60000 as fees the college fees are 24000.

50000 Is the fee charged by the VTU and the college fees are around 27000 for students who come through KCET. Special scholarships are available for some of the students. Management fees are around 200000 per year

I joined this college using the KCET SNQ quota. My fees were 24000 college fees plus 4000 govt fees for the first year. But later it was 24000. But for students on CET, it will be 60000 govt fees and Management 180000

Fees and Financial Aid:

The fees depend on how you get admitted to college. If you join through SNQ it's barely a few thousand rupees. I got the admission through KCET & my fees were 1 lakh (65k - KEA fee & 35k - college fee). And some additional expenses of buying the uniform and the college bus fee (depends on your pickup point & it's approximately equal to the annual amount that you'd have to pay if you opt for a local bus). So that's not a big deal. And yes, there are scholarship facilities, almost 85% of the students studying have got different scholarships. The college helps you right from applying to the scholarship till doing every other formality. There are a lot of scholarships awarded depending on your financial status, merit, etc. E-pass, Sardar Patel scholarship to name a few. The training & placement cell is highly active & has helped me get internships through various platforms, with a stipend (you can apply for internships right from the first year. Faculties & seniors help a lot throughout.
