Likes

The faculty are good their interaction with students are awesome they are friendly
Students scoring well in cet were rewarded and along with that those who do well every year are also rewarded with 20-30% scholarships.
Placement are nice, the college brings enough companies and the average package is 6 - 7 lpa, not bad

Dislikes

Professors are rude, they will trouble you if you don't get along. Parking facilities gets very congested during working days.
No group activities. No ventilation in some of the buildings. No course related training from the first year. Less number of group activities that affects communication among students.
Some internal fights between students, regular fights will be there.

Every trip like a best memory in our life. It give the good and bad. We are ready to accept it.

Likes

All friends are going to Bunking college every Saturday
Order the different types of food eating.
Spending the time with college friends for runing.

Dislikes

Every morning college starts the 9' o clock this is the bad thing.
When i eating the food any one distrub to me.
When i watching the movies any one makes sounds.

Placement Experience:

When i am in the final year of the engineering i am to lazy about the placements so i applied the less companies. So i placed the two companies. I don't like that companies so i quit that companies. I like to do core type job.

Well usually the crowd is pretty good, with people coming in from different states and culture. Overall the crowd be it the peers or the seniors are good, approachable and helpful.
The location is again not bad, it is in the city so that people can go outside and maybe even enjoy the life in Bangalore.
The infrastructure is again decent although it's not a huge campus but has a lot of trees and greenery. Overall decent and even new buildings were getting constructed while I was in the college. Overall decent if not great. At least not bad.

Dislikes

I was living in the INDIAN HOSTEL which was a 4 sharing hostel. It is pathetic with crazy warden. These people are abusive, greedy (being a small word for them). They verbally abuse students and financially put fines for as little things possible.
The faculty is not great. Except few decent and helpful teachers rest of them are neither helpful not great at their work. Many good teachers in the faculty even left the college while I was studying in the college with multiple changes within a sem.
The administrative staffs are goons. They are incompetent, they forge signature, commit frauds. They harass students, keep on delaying their work, have abusive and non helpful nature. People in govt. offices are better than them.

Course Curriculum Overview:

In order to be ready to get a great job, the college and its curriculum is not at all helpful. Most of the students even from other majors are at the end of the day getting job in a coding or computer based company. When it comes to CSE, most of the students were dependent on other platforms to learn DSA, and add other skills of the the domain they wanted to get into. SO IN SHORT THE COLLEGE WILL ONLY BE PROVIDING YOU THE DEGREE WHICH WONT LAND YOU THE JOB YOU WOULD WANT. SO BE READY TO TAKE UP MULTIPLE COURSES ONLINE, LEARN FROM DIFFERENT PLATFORMS ONLINE ON YOUR OWN.

the infrastructure and greenery are good.
location of this college is quite good .
the professor are well educated and helpful

Dislikes

attendance is quite strict (85% in every subject)
the campus size is not too big and less facilities are provided

DSCE: My thoughts

Likes

The campus is vast and luscious compared to other major engineering colleges in bengaluru
The college does not feel overcrowded most of the time
some staff are easy to negotiate with on due dates and other assignments

Dislikes

some staff are bad at teaching and aren't lenient either
the ratio afaik is 3:1 male:female which is not great tbh

Placement Experience:

I'm unsure as I am still a First year. They debriefed us about the placements in the inaugral program. On average it seems like 7L-8L seems to be the average package for upper branches like CS, ECE . Can't say the same for other branches as the placement cell head is pushing other branches to get into software dev and calls it essential to get placed. Highest package was around 50L and it was a CSE student in recent years.

Likes

Good Infrastructure of the college campus.
Teachers are good at teaching and will solve all the doubts.
The subjects are well organised and taught well.

Dislikes

The higher up teachers and hod is a little rude.

Placement Experience:

Placements are pretty good in the college, and many of them are already placed. Almost around 200 to 300 companies come to placements and the highest package has been 45 lakhs, with an average of around 7 to 8 lpa. There are constant updates about any placements available

The infrastructure is very bice pease and
The greenary of the college is very beautiful
And the hround and stands are very beautiful

Dislikes

Sports yearly once which need to be increased
The exams are kept in line after 2nd internals
The some teachers cut the marks unnecissarly

Likes

The aspects that I liked about this college is the seniors, they are very helpful and easy to approach. The college also held some cultural fest which are really good.
The campus of this college is really beautiful. It is far good when compared to other colleges of Comedk. The campus area is also decent and the location of the college is also very nice.
The college mess (Indian hostel mess) is aslo good. The food quality varies from decent to good. There are many places to visit nearby the college where students can hangout and relax.

Dislikes

The college facility is decent. Sometimes the burden is much more when compared to other days. The college has too many exams and its compulsory to give all the papers. The schedule is a bit hectic.
The attendance is 75% mandatory. While some teachers may adjust with 65-70% but some may require 75-85% of attendance in their subject.
The hostel timing is sometimes irritating. The timing for the girls hostel is 9:00 pm whereas for the boys its 9:30 pm. The hostel fees is also very high.

Placement Experience:

The placements opportunities in this college is decent. The average package for the cse and related department is around 9 to 10 lakhs per annum. The intership opportunities are aslo decent. The highest package from this college is of 56 lakhs. The placement percentage of this college is over 95% . There are many companies visiting this college, some of them are Amazon, Bosch, Capgemini, Cognizant, Deloitte, Google, Hitachi, Infosys, Microsoft, Oracle, Mercedes, etc.

DSCE - Very good college

Likes

College environment, feels like home and very peaceful to study in the garden and spend time
Library - all the reference books available and well maintained
Class room - well maintained, very comfortable

Dislikes

Not every building had rest room. This was little sad thing

Placements in DSCE is good, average package is about 4.5 LPA. Placement co-ordinater help students in all possible way to apply to companies. Cracking job depends on individual potential and knowledge.

My college experience till now

Likes

I liked about my college is the ambience of the college and it's greenary attract many students which is peaceful
The faculty of information science are very cooperative
Placement of recent years are very very good

Dislikes

The classrooms are but smaller and the benches are small and broken
The parking is way too far from building
The classrooms need to be smarter and need to install AC in every classroom

The course is very good that is information science that deals with software where we can learn coding and all which helps us in web development, application development,data science and many more jobs My curriculum prepares me well for real world applications They need to change the syllabus as the syllabus is around 50 years old The frequency of tests are 1 test per month which is good
