College of Engineering was started in the year of 2000 under the aegis of Co-operative Academy of Professional Education (CAPE) Society along with an aim to promote the education by providing Training, Research and Development, Consultancy and related services of International Standards. It offers Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) program in 05 streams and Master of Technology program in the field of Computer and Information Science. The college also has a placement cell for their students so that they can get the placement in final year by providing them with training facilities and personality development programs.

The tech festa and arts days activities were very lively and thrilling
The college have many placement options many companies comes to college to take interview and accept student.
The course is realy nice and my course is artificial intelligence this is new one that why i'm choose this course because next the technical world need this course student .artificial intelligence is realy wanted to tomorrow.

Dislikes

The campus life is very boring and frustrated for me.we can't make a study plan due to over stress.my collage is not providing any active participation in arts and sports.so we don't get any chance to develop our skills.
Compared to other colleges the amount of students studying there is low.
The thing i disliked about the college is that it is very underrated among students.

I have applied to all government colleges. I was not able to get the cutoff mark needed for entering the government college.The entrance score i was able to acquire were not meet upto the cut-off mark that has marked for government college. there are merit seat and management seat . merit seat is acquired by the entrance exam score Management seat can be acquired directly without score.The main exam for entering engineering college in kerala is KEAM Exam

We have a an ac sdpk hall which also doubles as our mulearn club room.

Dislikes

We have very small campus with very small nuber of students.
There is a clear lack of spot for students to hangout during intervals and lunchbreaks.
We also have a clear lack of fetivals and events in our college.

Admission:

I ended up on this college on pure coincidence as this college was 17th on my list on my allotment choice.I needed to write the keam examination to wnter my college.we are the last ranking IHRD college.

So I have basically done by BTech degree in Computer Science and Engineering from College of Engineering Kottarakkara anyone can avail admission to this college by writing an entrance exam called Kerala Engineering and Medical Entrance exam also known as keam. Minimum eligibility for writing this sentence exam is 12th grade. Application form for this entrance exam can be found in the website called CE Kerala this website is the website of the controller of entrance examinations for various examinations conducted by the state of Kerala.No reservation benefits were availed by me as I am a General categories student. The exam is basically of 3 hours and it consist of physics,chemistry and maths and the exam is much easier compared to JEE exams. after writing this exam, a rank list is published based on the mark you scored in the exam and the marks scored by you in Physics Maths and Chemistry in your 12th grade. after that you can get admission in your preferred college according to rank
