What Students Say

Likes

The fact we have an integrated company called ZOHO
We have a very good faculty who is supportive of us.
We have a an ac sdpk hall which also doubles as our mulearn club room.

Dislikes

We have very small campus with very small nuber of students.
We also have a clear lack of fetivals and events in our college.
There is a clear lack of spot for students to hangout during intervals and lunchbreaks.

Course Curriculum Overview

We are currently following the 2024 scheme put forward by the kerala technological university (KTU).when compared to the 2019 scheme we are much more privileged,as we only have to study 4 modules compared to their 5.

Internships Opportunities

We have a wide array of selection when it comes to our internship.we have a company called ZOHO which has integrated themselves to the campus ground.we also have way of doing said internship through online with a very good stipend.we are currently building a website for the kottarakkara taluk on behalf on its MLA.

Placement Experience

We have a very good campus placemnet cell in our college with companies like wipro,UST and TCS coming to grab fresh recruit from our college.Almost 70% of our students receive college placement while the rest have already applied for jobs through linked in .

Fees and Financial Aid

The year wise fees for a keam student is 40000 while for non keam students is 65000.we awere asked to pay a fee of 34310 rupees on admission day while the remaining 10000 must be paid on the beginning of 2nd sem.

Campus Life

We have a lack of festivals due to the low number of students in our college.but we do have IEEE,IEDC,React and mulearn in our campus.we also have a very active football and badminton club in our college.

Hostel Facilities

We are provided with a bedroom for 2 people with an attached bathroom.the food is something you can expect from any other hostel food.the breakfast and dinner is not bad but the luch is unbearable.the registration is strain with a monthly fee of 6000rupees.

Hostel Fee: INR 6000 per year

Admission

I ended up on this college on pure coincidence as this college was 17th on my list on my allotment choice.I needed to write the keam examination to wnter my college.we are the last ranking IHRD college.

Faculty

The faculty of our college is highly educated and respected in our college.ther are very supportive of us and very good role models for us.they are very good we couldn't have asked ofr more better faculty

Night Life

The nightlife of us students is a bit of lackluster when compared to other colleges.we have a clear lack of hamgout spots inside our college except our canteen.the town of kottarakara is practically a ghost town after 10 pm.

An honest college review

Placement Experience:

From the 7th semester students become eligible for placements. The top recruiters in it sectors are Infosys, TCS, Cognizant, Tata Elxsi, Accenture, Oracle, Amazon, Wipro, UST GLOBAL, IBM. The top recruiters in other sectors are Mu Sigma, Ernst and young,, federal Bank, h and r block. Most of the placement are in it and related sectors. The average package is 4 to 6 lpa.The highest package is 34 lpa in Amazon. In 2024, 35 percent of students got placed. I will look to get campus placement in a reasonable package or I will try to get jobs by other means.

Campus placements are highly volatile taking the stats from over the past three years there has been an up trend as well a down trend, I hope I will get placed through on campus interviews, the highest package of this year was for two graduates who got into IBM with 22 lakhs per aanum, there are few who didn't get into any of the companies while there were others who got int Amazon and other reputated companies, if I do not get into a reputed company through my college on campus placements the. College Feels Like Home

Placement Experience:

The placement department in our college is great and is always trying to bring good companies to the college. The placement training starts from semester 7. Our top recruiter include Infosys, TCS, Wipro, NocoBD, Delloite, etc. and our mechanical, civil, EEE,ECE all got placements with avg of 4lpa.The highest package where 12 Lpa for SAP. My plans is to get a good job and lead a stable life.

Eligibility for this course is 12th standard. The application form application fees and application dates details can be found on the website of controller of entrance examination Kerala that is CEE Kerala. So I have basically done by BTech degree in Computer Science and Engineering from College of Engineering Kottarakkara anyone can avail admission to this college by writing an entrance exam called Kerala Engineering and Medical Entrance exam also known as keam. Minimum eligibility for writing this sentence exam is 12th grade. Application form for this entrance exam can be found in the website called CE Kerala this website is the website of the controller of entrance examinations for various examinations conducted by the state of Kerala.No reservation benefits were availed by me as I am a General categories student. The exam is basically of 3 hours and it consist of physics,chemistry and maths and the exam is much easier compared to JEE exams. after writing this exam, a rank list is published based on the mark you scored in the exam and the marks scored by you in Physics Maths and Chemistry in your 12th grade. after that you can get admission in your preferred college according to rank...Read More
