What is an honest review of ABES Institute of Technology?

Students and alumni claim that the WiFi runs at a bad speed. The college provides you WiFi but only in the Library and you are not allowed in the Library during college time. The infrastructure is too small. The institute has one playground, where you are not allowed to play. Labs are present but only for copying codes which the teacher just copies from another website to show that you are learning something.No teacher is going to explain the fundamentals of your subject. They come with a sheet from which they dictate and you have to note down everything shit which is already available in books. Teachers have to maintain their own records, so that no student gets a back. The college will provide you with a free Amcat test. The companies come mostly through Amcat and most of them do not provide Core jobs.

What are the rules for ABESIT Admissions 2025, with regard to seat intake?

85% of seats of the total approved intake will be filled through Counseling (based on the JEE- 2024 main ranks). 15% seats will be offered to the eligible candidate through direct admissions based on the guidelines of affiliating University (AKTU) and as per the institute policy. CUET 2024 covers admission to the second year for engineering diploma holders and B.Sc. graduates.

Faculty is very good it focus on study wether student hav been profitably and excellent for studying
The placement of our college was good many companies come to college and give offers to students the average placement was 400000 to 500000 per year teachers also help students to take placement our placement faculty also help students
The admission process takes longer time due to some aktu affiliation but it provides better college options than normal universities you can apply for the admission process if you have a good percentile in jee.

Dislikes

Placement is quite low in college only 60% placed with a lowest salary of 1.2 lakhs and highest 16 lakhs , medium 4.5 lakhs.
The scholarship criteria is not well knowed as the registrar members are neither very good nor friendly.
The crowd is not so good as there are a good no. of students who are not career focused

LIFE AT ABESIT

Likes

Cleanliness of campus is really nice and good
Regular exams make you focus and consistent
Management is good and supportive and helpful

Dislikes

Strict attendance criteria for every exam
Teachers are really strict and too much..
Campus is very small and all the branches are mixed

The institute provides regular exams and assignment which helps students to be consistent in there practice...there are different lab for real world practice and also there are frequent seminars and tech fest to teach us about real scenario... teaching methods are right but sometimes the semester gets late from the University side only...the exams are of good level which prepares us really well

The placement of ours college is average you can easily get 3-4 LPA package but if you are targeting the big placement so you have to work hard for your skills and build your logics. Even you have apply off campus for better placement.

Likes

AC classrooms and clean washrooms and good faculty
I liked the infrastructure of my college
Helping faculties also there is periodic interaction

Dislikes

No sports facilities no extracurricular activities
No extracurricular activities and no clubs are there
There are average placements and there are certain unusual rules

Placement Experience:

Campus placements are average. Average package is 3lacs. There are campus interships also and startups. Employability is average after completion of course. The on campus placements are averages as i know so far

Our college provides the campus placements with around 4,00,000 LPA as a medium package . I don't know the exact number of companies visited but yes companies visit out campus for the placement drive

My personal experience at ABESIT

Likes

College campus is decently big and beautiful
They provide a very good canteen with best quality foods and affordable prices
The cultural events organised are good and enjoyable

Dislikes

They are more focused on academics and lectures
Attendance issue is there , we have to maintain 75 percent attendance minimum
The crowd is not so good as there are a good no. of students who are not career focused

Placement Experience:

The placements in college are on an average level . Generally mass recruiters come in college that offers around 4 to 5 lpa , although students who are talented goes for off campus placements and secure a good package so in my opinion it totally depends on students

choose your college wisely.

Likes

college is too clean and hygenic and canteen is also too good.
students who get low marks in jee and in 12th can also get admission.
wifi access in whole college and good library.

Dislikes

No event, No club activities ,no sports .
There is no CCTV cameras in college lifts are also slow and wrost.
you have to wear id card all the time and if you came put of class and some teacher you they keep your id cards .

Data science have a good scope i future thats why i chose it . In my college it was introduced 4 years ago . teachers are tecahing well in data science according to aktu syllabus but they did not teach with its real-life applications.so real it as the area of improvement .Else faculity are too good in terms of teachig.

1 faculty for each subject in a class of 65-70 students. Faculty are well qualified and experienced but they are not very helping and supporting. They often call your parents in case of any misbehave.

ABESIT- The college with good infrastructure but bad placements

Likes

Infrastructure is good and still modernising.
Have very niche technology from NVIDIA for the supercomputer.
Tech events are good which increase the competition in the college walls

Dislikes

No cultural events, social events are organized
Campus area is very small, since have only departments for CSE branches
All teachers are not very high qualified and some are unable to teach also

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for placement after 6th onwards but the placement is not very high. Only startups come for placement drives not any big MNC or mass recruters. Highest package is around 7.4 lacs and average package is about 2.4 lacs. Not a very high percent of students get placement from college they have to try ofcampus for placement.

Likes

Faculties are helpful and understand the feeling of students.
Be ready to support students in field of Startup and Innovation.
There is tasty food items in college canteen.

Dislikes

I didn't like this thing that college conducts class test for 1st year every Saturday while all colleges remains closed
No Fest Organised from last 1.5 year which disappoints me.
Library timing is upto 5 PM till evening. It should be till late night.

For 6th Sem you are eligible to sit in college placements. I'm not so sure about how much company is visited but a decent figure it is. Companies like Wipro, Tech Mahindra etc. Visited this year. There is 27 LPA highest offered and Average 6 LPA offered in college. 80 percent got placed through college. My plan is that I'll go for higher studies through gate.
