Yeah the course was largely updates with real world subjects except digital electronics. We also had to do many extra certification for new technologies like data mining, process mining, cyber security etc.

Data analytics is/was a growing field which is why I chose to apply for this particular college. Moreover at that time Kristu Jayanti College stood at 3rd position for pursuing BCA with analytics course.

There are many things which are to be considered for this course - 1) The course's curriculum is much better than the one offered by other colleges. 2) Co-curriculum activities are also focused and encouraged in KJC 3) Although the course is good, there are still some things which are kinda outdated Eg - WEKA

I choose BCA analytics as I was interested to move into the data analytics field. There have been some changes in the course curriculum due to the NEP .so we are given courses based on credits I.e 3 credit course and a 4-credit course. Each semester you will have 3 core subjects of 3 credit courses along with languages and an open elective for the first 3 semesters so in total 6 subjects each semester. The faculty to students rating is kind of balanced but I feel that faculty members are still adapting to changes as per NEP therefore they require more training to teach students and make classes interactive .suddenly teachers will leave the college in middle due to some issues and the majority of the classes are boring. Though all the professors and teachers here have a master's or a Ph.D. qualification they still find it difficult to adapt to new methods of teaching and rely on the same old boring lecture system. As for the teaching methods we don't have any textbooks but rely on online LMS.
