The college review

Likes

The college has a lot of sports equipment. It has a sports arena of its own which is very good and any student can come there any time they want to
The teachers are very good and teaches very well

Dislikes

As being a swimmer the college not having a swimming pool is a huge drawback

Placement Experience:

From second year students are eligible for campus placements . There is plenty of choices for the students to choose from. Many MNCs companies have approached our college for giving placements.The highest was 12LPA and average is 2.5LPA. My plan is to go for masters(MCA)

Glimpse of Kristu Jayanti College: The Better picks

Likes

The first thing i like about the college is that the campus is decently spacious and clean. The public utilities are well looked after and the cafeterias provide excellent food.
The college is really diverse in terms of ethnicity. Youll find all sorts of people from North, South, East and Western parts of India. Thus its interesting to have friends coming from various backgrounds.

Dislikes

One notable thing I dislike is the class timings. This needs more improvement as Ill be having one class in the morning and the next class comes only in the afternoon so i have too many non class hours in between.
Some professors tend to waste too much class hours and often leads us to having extra classes towards the end semesters trying to finish the curriculum..

Placement Experience:

KJC provides placements as early as the final year of a Bachelor's degree. As of current date, Im still yet to complete my Bachelor's degree and planning to pursue a Master's degree so I have opted out for placement and have not joined the sessions or councils regarding placements. But from common knowledge, the college provides an average of about 5 LPA. The placements are seemingly better for PG compared to UG programs.

College has a really big campus and a lot place to explore

Dislikes

Reallly strict when it come to grooming and uniform
Certain teacher are not fit for their position

Placement Experience:

There are plenty of placements in my college and the average pay is around 400000 per annum, and also employability other than placement is also good because of the college certificate value all over india

Likes

Extra curricular activities every day and weekly flash mobs
Intercollegiate fest ethnics day interactive sessions

Dislikes

As a final year student I expect a lot of Practical sessions
Overly strict attendance policies which limit flexibility l

Placement Experience:

From 3rd year you will have to sit for placements which is 5th sem , company's come to campus and interview like EY Deloitte (US) and India KPMG Jp Morgan and many more come for placements and as far as percentage , you have to have confidence and general knowledge and skills to crack the interview I'm planning for higher studies so I didn't sit for placements

Kjc- not so bad

Likes

The college is very green with lots of trees and plants that are well maintained
The college is very clean and well kept by the staffs

Dislikes

The college is strict in terms of dress code and is card
There is lack of big events , only small small event here and there but that’ll include only some students

Placement Experience:

In 2023 the placements offered had an average about 6.41 and 7.50 LPA. 80% of students here get placements. My plans is after degree is to get placements directly from college and do my post graduate distant. If I do not get placements, I'll straight go to do pg.

The faculties are very helping and welcoming
The campus is clean and vibrant and well maintained

Dislikes

Dress code must be followed at all costs
The classes can be made more interactive rather than self study or presentation

Placement Experience:

Placements are good. More offers are there for bcom and bba compared to ba. the package is also good it starts from around 2-6 LPA Companies like icici EY etc have visited and students have been placed. From 5 semester students become eligible for placements

Review of my college

Likes

Firstly, I like the green campus of the college. Kristu was ranked 3.75 CGPA By NACC for green and clean campus.
The infrastructure of the college is well maintained and really good.

Dislikes

The college have a very strict rules and regulations especially for the grooming for both girls and boys.They are not allowed to have colored hair, can't have long beard or long hair for boys.
The girls are not allowed to wear cropped tops or anything short and boys are not allowed to wear jogger pants or cargo pants.

Placement Experience:

We do have the placements for both Autonomous and law department including post graduation. We have a list of companies and firms names and according to that whichever we want to apply for we apply and we have interviews and all in those firms and according to that we get the placements.The percentage of the students for placements should be 60% and above.The average package of the company and profile offered is 3 lakhs and above.My plan after getting a degree is I want to work in corporate firms as it is my ambition.

Likes

The infrastructure and the management of the college is very nice. The college provide you all the necessary resources to study in a peace and healthy environment.
The faculty of the college are very friendly to the students. They never treat harsh or rude to the students.

Dislikes

There's no much thing to dislike the college.
One thing that many don't like is discipline since the college is run by fathers so they make sure discipline is followed by all.

Placement Experience:

The college has a placement cell but it doesn't work well. Few associates and law firms have came to the college till now but couldn't provide a good amount of packages. The students generally prefer off campus placement or independent practice after completing the course. After 4th year which is 7th semester the students apply for placements.

I like the college infrastructure, it is worth the penny we spend there. students are excited and participate in all games and events which bring joy . Teachers do participate in programs and games .

Dislikes

THings i disliked is how they conduct few programs at the evening which is right after the classes for few students.

Placement Experience:

As i have heard from my seniors the placements are good. It all depends in our creativity and knowledge on how to tackle the outside problems. The highest package must be around 3500000 and lowest package must be around 100000.

Reflection on my college review

Likes

The infrastructure which provides many things to the student for developing their knowledge and skillsets
The faculty are very helpful and supportive at times they teach with such passion and its really comforting to be in their presence

Dislikes

The students do not follow the decorum of the college and do not follow rules which is something i do not like

Placement Experience:

From end of 3rd semester students become eligible for campus placements. Goldman sacs was one of the companies that had visited our college and gave internships opportunities as wells as job opportunities. Highest package would be ?7 lpa while average package would be around 3-5 lpa.
