All the major hotel companies in the industry like Taj, Marriott International, ITC, Oberoi gruloip, The Leela, Lalit Suri group, etc come to conduct interviews amd recruit students. In addition to this QSRs like McDonald's, Good Flippin' Burgers, Third Wave Coffee and retail brands like Aditya Birla group, Reliance industries etc. too come for recruitment. The avg. package offered is almost 5LPA as per last year records.

Placement Experience:
From 5th semester we are eligible for campus placement. Companies like ihcl, ihg, eih, the Hyatt and Hilton the etc. All most ever students gets a placement via college. Many of the students have plans like to do MBA, MSc or to get into any MT program of any company. MT program is a management training program offered by the company which allows you previllage of getting promoted to managers level in span of two years. It is paid program and they have examination as well. Minimum package offered by any company is 3 lacks per year.

Campus placements arent like any other college.. students go through rigorous interviews to get placed into hotels for management trainess. These management trainess then work under all the departments of the hotel for over 18 months and then decide where they would work in that hotel. The mgmt trainee program also hels jumpstart careers helping students in the long run

After the 4th semester the campus placements start. The companies like Taj(IHCL), OBEROIS, ITC, Accor, Radissons, Sofitel, hyatt, Hilton, Marriott international, rtz carlton have interviews for the management trainee in the college even fast food chains like Macdonalds and domino's approach the college for the same.
My plans after my degree are to get management trainee or get an opportunity to work in an international hotel so as to move abroad

I have completed my second year for now going to start third year very soon the placement interview take place in 3rd year so asking to the senior I got to know that various hotels like Taj hotel, Oberoi hotel, trident hotel and various companies like Starbuck, McDonald's, etc comes for the campus interview. Doing this degree leads to various opportunity including airline cruise hotel and even out of country job opportunities.

Cam pus place ment ihn IHM Mumbai is very great 90 percent of people get placed through campus placement with a salary range of 2.4- 3.5 lakhs per annum. I know this is very small salary but growth in this industry is very high

Although the initial salary packages offered by IHMs are good, don’t expect a cushy package. Your salary package will depend on the company that you are going to work for. It can range between INR 15,000 - INR 30,000/month. You can also get increments depending on the company rules. You should prepare thoroughly for the interview.
If you go through the management trainee program for some hostel you will get around INR 20,000 - INR 24,000. After completing the 2-year long trainee program you can expect to get a salary package of INR 40,000 - INR 50,000/month.
If you go through the management trainee program for food companies like KFC, Dominos, Starbucks then you can expect to earn around INR 25,000 for 2 years. After the training period, you will get salary packages around INR 30,000 - INR 40,000/month. The retail company job profiles also have a similar pay.
So, first, you should complete your management trainee program from a company that way you can start easily.
