IHM Mumbai Faculty

Teachers here are very insensitive , rude , egoistic and arrogant . They will constantly trying to find a way to squish you under their foot . Although most of them are well educated and have alot of experience in their field but they have to work on their behavioral issues. Some even lack common sense and sympathy , especially the girl's warden

The ratio for students are not good I think coz for almost 50-60 Students are there for a practicular class and teacher is 1. I think the ratio is not fair enough as they lack of personal attention but I think staff is approachable as most of ihm faculty is most of ihm Mumbai it self.... it's best...as they can relate n help us and they participate in every activity and help us grow as well as they are available for most of the times and reply to our question with passion...exams are less ..every easyy it's based on basic things and most exams are based on knowledge that we learnt in our practical classes which help us to understand and can be easily explained in every form and some exams are based on MCQ question which makes exam even more easy ....for practicals and external are from various 5 star hotels and which helps us build our confidence and there knowledge as they got better work experience and worked in hotel industry for years

The faculty of the college are experienced and approachable. All the HODs as well as senior lecturers will guide you efficiently as & when required. The exams are conducted by the end of every semester. There are mid-sem exams too which are conducted by the college itself and will be decided by the management i.e take assignments or MCQ type questions etc.

Faculty are very nice here very helpful I think tere is no one I don't like all are good . About exam are not that tough you have to more focus on practical because they are main exams are easy not difficult

Institute of hotel management, Mumbai offers you a degree in BSC in Hospitality and Hotel Administration of three years under IGNOU university of three years. From the last year the IGNOU university has been changed to JNU. So, in a year we have med semester exam, end semester exam and once a IGNOU exam in the entire year. Faculty is good with students and very helpful in every aspect for the students. Exam are not too difficult nor too easy if you pay attention in the lectures then you can write paper very well.

Most of the faculty who is teaching are alumni of the college and the remaining are also graduates of the IHMs and they are very helpful and approachable very kind and always ready to help you in your growth

Faculties are really very very good and the bond between students and faculties is very strong They always motivate students and help students in placements and industrial training . The interaction between faculties and teachers are very very good and in postive manner.

Although we had 2 chefs at all time steaching a class, it felt like much more.... their presence was enough to make students disciplined and they also helped alot in understanding basic concepts and creatives

You can talk to the faculty anytime during the lectures and clear ur doubts. The lectures are always interactive and fun. The faculty is great at Creating jokes and having fun. All the staff working there is fun loving and qualified to be in the position they are. Even u can personally clarify it from the faculty during the college hours. Even tho the student is to teacher ratio is 90:1 all the teachers are capable of looking after each and every student in the class at the given point of time

All the facilities are well educated and they really support the students at the right time. They also guide us. Provide required notes and study material. And teach every concept very well. Every faculty loves teaching to students.
