Hostel rooms are very small and in 70 sqaurefeet rooms 3 people are staying which is very conjusted and its very difficult for us to stay during though i left hostel after sem 1 as do no to allow you to bring a water heater or induction in your room , though the food in IHM are great they give good non veg and veg menus for students and they change it every week and its making done by some great chefs . Registration for hostel is pretty easy and you need to have a local gaurdian near by and complete some forms to get admitted and to maintain your hostel you need to have attendance over 85% which is a huge criteria though at night the locality gets very cooled as the college Is near by the sea

The hostel rooms are very spacious and cleaning is done on regular intervals the hostel bathrooms and washrooms are quite a concerne but still they are bearable. There is a water cooler on each and every floor ,the hostel also have a gym.The room is comprised of a cupboard for each and every person living in it with a study table and chair and lamp holders they are two categories in which one is double sharing and other triple sharing on each and every floor some of them are sea facing and other ones are normal. The mess food is of good quality with a cyclic menu. Anyone who is studying or doing degree courses in Ihm Mumbai can opt for the hostel ,the criteria for hostel is generally on the basis of ranks for the newcomers for the admission one need to fill the hostel form and the undertaking and one need to have a local guardian in Mumbai or nearby city like Thane or Navi Mumbai.The locality near by the college is very good so the Pgs accommodation are good and are affordable.

The hostel rooms are veryyyyy old, the ceiling is breaking down on the 6th floor and there are only triple sharing or double sharing rooms. There's sea view,but no AC and during summer it's been too hot. Hostel rooms are given on merit basis,as per your rank. Also you must need to have a local guardian in Mumbai,and a medical insurance. Its 12k per month but you're charged for a semester so it's 60k for the accommodation and food combined . It's very cheap compared to living outside as the accommodation for PGs here near the college starts from 10k. The meals are average. There is a biasness for the senior students. All the day scholars can have lunch in the mess and the seniors go ahead of the first years even if you're a hostellite. So it's frustrating standing in a long queue even after paying for the meal and seeing people eat before,even if they haven't paid for it.

Hostel facilty in mumbai is not that great as compared to the money they are charging but what else we are going to expect as the space in mumbai is very less for them to accomodate , but the food in the mess of the hotel management is well maintained and they provide a very well cyclic menu and a lot option for vegetarian students. The one of the greatest cons opting for hostel is your attendance which this college is very serious about if your attendance is below 75 then you will be not allowed in any case to take the exam

Hostel faculties are basic. There are 2 fans and 3 cabinets for 3 students per room. There is one study table for each student. There are charging points for each student. Meal quality in general is nice. Menu is shuffled every month. There is option for both veg and non veg for most days. Hostel is affordable and registration process is not lengthy.

The boys hostel was on the 6th,7th adn 8th floor with a nice view. The amenities were basic. Boys in the first year were not given a hostel and from the second year onwards, you could take the accomodation based on the attendance.

Hostel Room: rooms are on a double/triple sharing basis. Metal cots, tables, chairs, and inbuilt wall cupboards are provided to each student. Big windows and well ventilated. The room area is small but it is Mumbai. So understandable. Washrooms: There are common Washrooms on every floor. With separate bathing stalls and western toilets. Water heating systems are there in common tap outside bathing Stalls. Common room: between all rooms, there is a common room where a few sofas, TV & drinking water purifiers are kept. Food: food is served in mess. Food quality is one of the best. It won't be like the awful experiences you hear from others about hostel food. Every week menu is updated and the best quality and variety of food is served. Registration process: the hostel is not provided in the first year. Students are eligible to apply in 2nd year. Shortlist comes out according to AIR. Locality: Hostel is in same building as the college. Dadar West is a very calm and nice place. Surrounded by the best of the city.

I had not opted for hostel accommodation as I was staying with some relatives. There was a hostel facility from the second year onwards. The hostel rooms were on a sharing basis and had 3 inmates in each room. Apart from these there were a few PGs also available in the vicinity.

Yes I was in hostel and the room was quite big enough, there were three types of room available first one as on double sharing basis second one was triple sharing basis and the last one is NRI rooms. Yes hostel rooms are limited upto 150 seats.yes there are various PG and hostels available nearby on the average cost of them is INR10,000.if you want to avail the hostel facilities which is available when you promoted to second year you have to maintain a good attendance as well as good marks.

I am a localite, but hostel facilities are very good and premier, we have many towers/buildings which are categorised on basis of semester of student studying in, we have 3 bed sharing for boys and 2 bed sharing for girls, even girls hostel have a/c and a private washroom which are not in boys hostel. Girls hostel is built up in corner, therefore boys interruption is very low.
