There are various scholarships available in the college like management scholarship and also other scholarships for minorities like special scholarship for christians and catholics.
Faculty was the best in the college pasycholgy mam and literature mama were too good at giving us knowledge in our classes it was great experience to get in the seat in the college
There are proper infrastructure with modern technologies, such as multimedia projectors, high-quality, audio, systems, smart boards. another thing i liked about loyola is ,college involves extra curricular activities and value based education .

Dislikes

Some faculties have short tempered , they get angered on silly things
Stress environment, heavy exams, leave letter
In this college there are church father who are very strict cousion if we get cougt they well strictly punish you

Likes

The grounds and sports curriculum is better when compared with other colleges
Timings and the opportunity to showcase our strengths
Nature and the view is very beautiful with animals

Dislikes

The people around here are jealous about others
For me , My house is far from the college,it takes time
75percentage of attendance rule is disgusting

The curriculum is not that practical, but the internship which is followed by the students make them practical and suitable for the role of job They conduct total of 3 exams ,2 mids and one last sem exam Mid exams are easy, but the sem exams are medium difficult

Loyola Academy is a very reputated and famous college mostly for its studies, extracurricular activities,peaceful and greenery filled campus and the studies here are very very excellent and helpful in jobs placements, and tte staff is well trained .
The teaching staff is one of the most important thing i like in this college, and the campus is very very large and spacious and well maintained filled with greenery and beautiful infrastructure like separate study blocks for different study groups..
Bsc,Msc and Pg degree is very good in this college, and the college bulidings are very very beautiful structured and there are many sports grounds like volleyball courts, indoor stadium, football court, extracurricular activities and events resonance

Dislikes

The major problem and the thing i dislike in tbjs college is that the college does not have a big auditorium for study meetings and guest lectures, and sometimes the course fees feels very high though the course is not much beneficial one, nothelpful
And due to many various problems if we attend late to college then the college gates are colsed and attendance is not given for 1st hour qithout any proper consideration of the problem, and sometimes fees is asked for various extra activitiesforceful
And also drinking water facilities in this college is also poor because in this huge campus there are only 2 reverse osmosis waterplants ans sometimes there will be no water available and the blocks secuity is also very very strict which is problem..

Course Curriculum Overview:

Our course is BscFood science, Nutrition and Dietetics and it is a course which deals with the nutrition aspects to be taken while planning a diet in various disease conditions and for persons in sports, etc This course is not much special one as the course is very very easy to understand but in our college this course is exolained in detail and as such there will be change of the subjects for every semester thereby covering the entire course duration By doing this course we can gain lnowledge of nutrition aspects and how to plan a diet accordingly and how to treat diseases using food And after this course the jobs available are as a safety officer,Sports nutrition planner and the exams are conducted in a sufficient time period that is 2 midsemester exams and 1 final semesterend examinatioms. This course can even be done by oneself through various socialmedia platforms.And the factor which influence me in this course is to solve the diseases by foods

The things I like in the college are atmosphere, the nature, the variety of plants and and the canteen which has very variety of foods which offer nutrition to the students who need it, and the library is so big.
The canvas is so huge that it will be a workout for you to reach your class The people who want to play any sports, there are separate coach for each sport, such as basketball, football cricket, and it also consist of an indoor stadium.
They have various categories such as placement, cell, women empowerment, and it also has an emergency room for the people who have undergone any emergency or injury and and the scholarships are provided to the people who need with few conditions to

Dislikes

Absence of projectors absence of seminar halls, Auditorium improve lab facilities.
There is no proper drinking facility near the Indo Stadium, where all the students who undergo any physical activity need proper drinking facility to rehydrate, and there are only two reverse osmosis facilities which are very far from each other.
During the lunch break, it’s very hard to get the mail because a large amount of students will be the line and the time time will not be sufficient for the students to have their meals.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The specific reason for choosing this course was to pursue sports nutrition, which regards to the masters This also open the gate to the sports field as per coming to the curriculum. This curriculum majorly based on Hospital diets rather than sports diet, which is a major follower. The course as per coming to the practical knowledge, the practicals are done, but each student is not being taught how to cook rather than the people who know to cook are cooking. The equipment during cooking is not as not as up-to-date because they are very old fashion and coming to the practical labs, it is very small that batches in the class have to be made to be fit in the class because it's so congested and not very well ventilated which should be properly ventilated as it's a kitchen and proper utensils are not being provided and the utensils are cleaned by the students. For the For the midsemester repairing one day before the exam is enough to score well.

College canteen has different varieties with veg and non veg both available
Speaker around campus calm the students helps them to refresh by the music
College have extracurricular activities like ncc, scouts ,youth red cross etc

Dislikes

Some faculties have short tempered , they get angered on silly things
fees is bit higher for bsc cs compared to other colleges

Placement Experience:

From 5th semester you can give exams for campus placements Mainly Deloitte and cognizant companies hire students Highest package one has got was 6 lpa and average is 2.5 lpa My plan is to join my family business

I liked the campus it is so huge and The facilities of the college is also very good

Some faculties show partiality to some students
And they mainly focuses on the Attendance of the students
Sometimes they wantedly make fails the students for revaluation money

The course which I took is very useful but the college is providing more courses that students can do anything in the future. Another than course they also teach some other extra course which will be helpful

Basic information a newbie should know before joining

Likes

Infrastructure , ambiance and the faculty
Teaching staff is too friendly and helpful
Their highly maintained discipline which they are known for

Dislikes

Don't allow phone during class times and
Never mess with faculty it will cost u cgpa
Too strict and always are focused on cgpa

Placement Experience:

Students are usually getting placement in the third year after completing the graduation The highest placement which was recorded was 6 lakhs per annum and the average placement is 2 to 3 lakh It is 80% I would like to continue my higher studies

Sometimes principal takes more actions on small reasons
Taking id card due to small reasons makes us disappointed
Timings may be difficult for some who come from far places

Placements are held in the final 6th semester where companies conduct interviews in our college and they will be given packages accordingly. More than 70% students have a chance of placement. About me I may start a business or go to outer country.

My beautiful journey of college life

I love the campus infrastructure.It is very peaceful to study
The greenery is so beautiful and I love being at my college campus
Our college follows very strict rules and guidelines

Dislikes

Our college should provide more placement opportunities
Most of the facilities in our college is very experienced but I wish every one should be experienced
Our college have very strict security guards

Placement Experience:

From 5th semester students become eligible for campus placements.Many companies such as Deloitte,TCS, Mahendra tech,Amazon and many more companies visits our campus every year.The highest package is 6,00,000 annually but one student got 12,00,00 per annum recently and the average package is 4,00,000 per year.16% of students getting placements.My plan after getting the degree is to prepare for entrance exams which are related to statistics.

loyola has a very vibrant campus, with Amazing college radio.
the way management encourages students to participate in the cultural fests and social activities

Dislikes

mid exam schedules, we have 2 exams per day its hard to manage.

Placement Experience:

for my department, campus drives started from the 5th semester. there weren't any much companies related to Biotechnology visited. but there were so many companies with better packages visited for management and commerce students. im currently planning on changing my field from life sciences to management. so im looking for job/course related to that.

I like staff in the college. They are very cooperative to the students.
They get lot of companies for the students placements.

Dislikes

The college will be always under construction.
The culture are done but not organised. Students feel discomfort.

I like solving problems. so, i took bsc maths i took. There are very good staff in college, who did masters in their own subject. And they used to conduct surprise tests to make students more attentive in college.
