Osmania University is inviting applications from eligible candidates holding a Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) through UGC/CSIR/ICAR/ICMR/DBT/DST-INSPIRE/NFSC under Category-I for admission into the Ph.D. program in the Faculty of Science for the academic year 2024.

Candidates must submit the application form along with the required documents on or before December 12, 2024, by 5 pm at the office of Dean, Faculty of Science, Osmania University.

Osmania University PhD Admission: Application Fee

Candidates are required to submit a Demand Draft (DD) of Rs. 1,500 in favor of the Dean, Faculty of Science OU, payable at SBI Bank.

Osmania University PhD Admission: Required Documents

Applicants must include the following documents along with the application form:

  • Demand Draft for Rs. 1,500.
  • Three copies of the research synopsis detailing the proposed research topic.
  • Two copies of the eligibility certificate (JRF/any other national-level fellowship letter).
  • Two copies of UG and PG mark sheets, along with other academic certificates (from SSC to PG).
  • Two copies of the caste certificate (if applicable).
  • Two copies of the Aadhaar card.
  • Two recent passport-size photographs.
