Likes

The faculty is good, well educated they make sure the students understand everything they are very good behaviour wise.
They offer many scholarship opportunities financial aid including merit based and government scholarship.
Job assuring college, it will always be good to know that the college placements are awesome

Dislikes

There are so many good teachers but just a few bad ones discourage the students from being curious to learn by being cocky
They have not well teaching staff, they dont have nice ground
Hostel rooms are decent but the mess facilities are awfully disgusting.

VIT Pune - College with the best campus and after-campus life

Likes

I liked the clubs, teaching methods, project based learning and the grading system.
Also, I kiked the fact that there's no ragging allowed in college.
The seniors are friendly and guide you at every step.

Dislikes

I didn't like the campus as it is small compared to other colleges.
I didn't like the parking space as it's very crowded
The number of holidays are sometimes reduced too.

Placement Experience:

The placements in VIT are taken care properly. All students are placed till the end of there degree, and the college takes care of this. The highest package is 45lpa and lowest is 3.5lpa. But the average is 9-10lpa.

VIT : The Undiscovered Truth

Likes

There are many activities going on weekly and monthly basis as u won't get bored , and can make many memories together if u had a got nice friends. activities such as vishwautsav, vishwakarndak( interest branch sports event), and many more
The schedule here is very relaxed you only have a class for 4 days and remaining 3 days in the week you have holiday, which u can utilise your time to learn some new skills and also you can explore the pune city
The seniors here are very helpful, they will guide you what to do what not, which club will be good joining or which won't be . So you will always be surrounded by very helpful people.Even many teachers do help you in your projects and activities.

Dislikes

Few teachers for my batch are not good, they just keep on reading ppt , but others are very good and energetic.
If you got selected in a club you will have to attend there workshop daily, if they calls you then even you will have to come on your holiday to the workshops
Campus is small as there is no so many places to visit

Placement Experience:

From 7th and majorly form the 8th semester the students become eligible for the campus placement. Every year many companies visit our college like Goldman Sachs, Google, Infosys ,TCS , oracle,etc and offer a great amount of package to many students many students even get PPO. The highest package of this year was somewhere 61LPA and the average was 9 LPA. Somewhere around 82-83% students were placed this year and with good amount of packages My plan after getting the degree is pursuing a master's degree in abroad

Voices of the Campus - VIT

Likes

I like that professors here are well qualified and they try to make students placement ready from the first year itself
The Auditorium in VIT is one of the best auditorium in Pune and hence events organised in Auditorium like footloose, nataki and etc.
I also like that there are too many clubs in Vit in almost every field you want from dramatics to dance to coding and many more.

Dislikes

Due to small campus events organised here do not meet the expectations of any student and specially freshers.
Boat club here is the worst boat club you will see in any college because it's just a 3 feet deep circular tank with no water in it

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible to sit for placements from 5th semester onwards. Many companies visit the campus with some big names such as Goldman Sachs, Nvidia and etc. Last year a total of 239 companies visited the campus and the average package around 7.5lpa with 51lpa being the highest package offered by Nvidia. After the degree I will also ppt for placements and may later try for MBA after taking 3 to 4 years of experience in the job.

High Fees: The tuition and associated costs can be considered quite high compared to other engineering colleges in the region
Administrative Issues: Some students report inefficiencies in administrative processes, including delays in approvals and lack of clear communication
Limited Campus Space: As a relatively new institution, some facilities may feel cramped or insufficient compared to more established colleges

Placement Experience:

After 5 semester students get eligible for internships and placements In these clg 150 + companies come every year and giving almost 10-11 lakh of avg pakage In these college highest pakage is 56 lakh offered by Google

A Brief review of My Brief College Life

Likes

Their are So Many Extra Circular Activities that help you to engage in new things.
Teachers are also decent and teaching is also good.
Curriculum is also Decent good in VIT Pune.

Dislikes

Girls and Boys Ratio Is Bad Here , In total class 1/4 are girls and rest are boys.
The management is Poor , and There is no such responsibility as well.
Increased intake may affect the placement in 2028.

Placement Experience:

After 6-7 semester students are eligible for placement. Companies visited the campus are , Infosys, Garneya , Werfool , and etc. This year percentage of getting placement will decrease Because of increasing intake.

College review.

Likes

Seniors are really very helpful. Infrastructure is of top quality, well equipped labs, clean campus, sports facilities are there.
There are almost 50 clubs including technical and non technical.
There are 3 canteens , the food quality of main canteen I comparably good. There are hired grounds for cricket, football and basketball.

Dislikes

Campus area is very small, around 7 acres . The locality around the college campus is not that safe, especially for girls it is not safe for them at night
The college hostel is 3 km outside the campus, and it is very expensive around Rs 1,20,000.
There is too much of intake, which is not good for future placements. As there are 720 seats for Cs, total there are 12 branches, the total of students from all the branches is around 4000, so the competition is very high.

Placement Experience:

In fourth year there is on campus placement. Average package for Cs department was around 8 - 10 lpa. Companies like Nvidia come to the college. The highest package offered was 51 lakh last year. My plan after getting the degree is to get the job in top company with high package.

Coding culture is great many hackathon are conducted by organised clubs in college
This college have so many clubs which you can take participate for your personal and educational development
Faculty is very supportive whether it is teaching or non-teaching

Dislikes

College have parking problem, some time it's hard to get a space to park your vehicle
Traveling problem, if you are travelling through city bus than you have to take a walk to college
Campus is not too big but big enough to have a good experience

Placement Experience:

From 3rd year placements starts. The highest placements from college is 55 LPA, and the average packege is 10 LPA. Every famous companies offers placements Around more than 80% students gets a good placement. My plan after degree is to apply for a job in Google and Microsoft

All About VIT

Likes

The lush green campus with great infrastructure
The new labs that have been introduced in the recent years
52 clubs that are open for all the students which provide students with choice of following their passion for the coming years

Dislikes

Small campus size is something that hurts a lil bit compared to the other campuses that are present in pune
The sports facility of the college is not that upto the mark and lacks in sporting facilities
the parking issue in the college campus for the vehicles

Placement Experience:

the placements of the college are pretty good they provide on-campus placements as well as the internships for the students and the TPO support for three that is the pre-final, final and 1 year after the under graduation so in total 3 years of assistance toward the students

College has a good environment And students

I don't know much about the placement and all, but I have heard about the computer science branches More And there are many companies for chemical, we have the immersion company And many we get around 6 to 8,00,00 package Percentage of student getting place So after degree I can do a masters

Placement ration of my college is very good. It is one of the best placement ration in MAHARASHTRA college. Overall it has average package of 9 lakh per year and For Computer Science Department student it increases to 12LPA
