VEC Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

My aim was to go into an embedded or vlsi related field so I was strong enough to take up on this course to help me work out well in the future... The curriculum which included my course contained of many basics as well as tough concepts like digital signal processing, vlsi, embedded systems etc., The only aim to take up this course was to work in a embedded field which is the making of mother board circuits which is mandatory for all the electronics components

The placements vailability is high as many companies visit our college and the percentage of the students getting placement are above 90. My plan after getting the degree is work in a corporate company as a software associate.

I choose ECE, Electronics and Communication Engineering is the study of electronics, electromagnetism and also computer systems. It also involves testing, designing, developing and computer hardware and software systems

Here students get eligible for placement at their 6th semester. Although placements are there, based on the department they play foolish politics just to make the faculties favorite students to get placed. We have lots of companies with an average package. Now the current placement percent is above 60. My plan after getting a degree is to be in a well reputed company.

The course is structured based on the aspects of computer and it's functions which I like the most and also the programming skills that are a part of the course is just a good thing and all the teaching methods was alright and no need for any further improvement and the frequency of the exams could be a bit better considering the fact that we get only one study day in between

Placements are conducted from the 6th semester which is in the 3rd year. Many of the companies that visit our college are service based but there are some product based companies like Zoho,Amazon, IBM which have visited but the student intake is low.The offer count probably reaches 1k every year. The CSE department gets around 90% placement record in recent years. I am planning to get placed via offline interviews rather than getting a low salary in campus placement.

currently placements is down due to the recession but several companies like Amazon Zoho CTS Cognizant etc are coming to recruit people from 3rd year and also fourth year with high packages.nearly 70% are placed.

On the 5th semester students get eligible for the placements. Last time CTS visited our college and selected a group of students for their company. Next week Amazon will come and get their students. 75% is more than enough for all the companies.

The students are eligible to attend placement at end of 6th semester. We have companies like zoho, fresh works, CTS , TCS , Wipro and Infosys etc visit our college for placement. The college had a decent placement record of around 90% + overall and if has gone down to recession. On a average the package is around 4-6 LPA . You can get as high as 10 LPA.

From the fifth semester of the 3rd year of college, you're fit for campus interviews. Many companies like Zoho, cognizant, and TCL are the main companies. One can get more than 3 offers the average package is 6 lakh per annum and the pass percentage is 95%.
