Likes
- The things i liked here are first is there is no ragging in the campus
- Secondly as it is small campus we can just walk to classesin just 1-2 min
- And lastly the classrooms are open 24/7 irrelevant of day
Dislikes
- And there are some things i personally dont like
- Firstly there is a lot of snakes around here
- And lastly if anything is broken/dameged it may take long time to be repaired.
Placement Experience:
Generally students dont go for placement interview instead they opt for higher studies as after doing phd you can get a decent amount of salary or you can continue in research. The students who sit for placements will definitely get a job with decent salary as there is no much competition.

- The beautiful courses on mathematics and the professors.
- Besides math we did very good courses on CS, such as Numarical computing, BAsic programming languages C++, Python, R and Design and analysis of algorithms etc
- The statistics courses are amazing and very useful in practical life.
Dislikes
- There were some physics courses which don't lie in my interests.
- The people outside campus (they behave very badly if you don't know kannada)
Course Curriculum Overview:
The course here is heavy. You have to learn mathematics thrice as the other bachelor courses in India, statistics is twice as the other bachelor's degree and the physics courses here are equivalent to the courses in a normal bachelor's degree and CS courses are quite similar to what is studied in IIT in first two years. And one has to do all these courses within 3 years here. So the curriculum is heavier than any other university in India. But the positive part is we get to learn so much. We are efficient enough for mathematics, statistics, and CS jobs and of course research jobs. If one can handle the pressure it's amazing.

Placement Experience:
Students become eligible for campus placements right after completing their B.Math(Hons) degree, i.e after their 6th semester.
Companies like Microsoft, Google, LinkedIn, Wipro, and other Multinational Companies visit and every student gets an offer from one company or the other.
The package ranges from 10LPA to 25LPA.
Those students who opt for placement after their B.Math(Hons) course is over, all get a placement offer while most of the students prefer to continue their Master's Degree.
I too would like to complete my Master's Degree after my bachelor and think about further options thereafter.

Placement Experience:
Students become eligible for placement after the 5th semester. However, most of the students opt for higher studies but whoever sits for placement is placed. There has been 100% placements for the last two years. The highest package offered is 22 LPA and the average being 14LPA. Top recruiters include Walmart Labs, Chegg, etc. The places offered are in programmers, RND, analysts, etc. However, I will more likely go for higher studies abroad.

Admission:
The selection will be done on the basis of performance in the written test and interview. You can apply for this college online and fill the necessary details. you also need to upload the required documents . Pay the application fee Rs.700 for general category and Rs.350 for reserved categories.

Remarks:
The college was amazing.. be it infrastructure of the college, campus life, crowd of the college that we had faculty, or the authority everyone or everything was very amiable and ease. The environment was also very positive in my college.

Admission:
I am doing B.Math.(Hons.) From here. And the selection was based on my performance in written exam and interview conducted by the college. The basic eligibility criteria for B.Math.(Hons.) admission here is to be qualified in 10+2 from a recognised board with maths and English as must subjects.

What are reviews about ISI (Indian Statistical Institute) placements and MS programmes at centres in Delhi, Bengaluru and Kolkata?

Having to know some people studying at both Simsree and KJ Somaiya and here are some things that you should know. They both are equally good.
- Both the institutes, for their MMS course, teach the same syllabus specified by the University of Mumbai. So, according to the content, there is no difference.
- This is generally a good thing that you are specializing in something that roughly 4 to 5% of the batch will specialize in.
- It is not as difficult for the placement committee to get companies with specific profiles.
- The institutes have been there for a fairly long time and both have a steady pool of recruiters. Therefore, placements are not very problematic.
- Having said that, placements depend on multiple factors, and nothing can be guaranteed.
- K J Somaiya has more full-time faculty members whereas SIMSREE has more visiting faculty members. But cannot say the same about the operations specialization.
Irrespective of where you go, your responsibility is to get better, participate in competitions, do certifications, and improve yourself holistically. The institute cannot impose anything if you have no intention of doing it.
