Wildlife Institute of India offers a two-year Master’s course in Wildlife Science, Heritage Conservation and Management and Freshwater Ecology and Conservation. Candidates applying must have a minimum of 15 years of formal education (either 10+2+3 or 11+2+2). For admission, a candidate will have to sit for a NET exam conducted by WII Dehradun. Shortlisted candidates will be called for the Personality and Aptitude Test (PAT) or Interview. For the final selection, 50% weightage is given to both NET and PAT.

Candidates with a Bachelor's Degree from Universities outside India should obtain certificates of equivalence from the Secretary-General, Association of Indian Universities (AIU).

Wildlife Institute of India grants admission to 2-year PG courses, 10-month PG Diploma and short-term certificate programmes. Applicants of the M.Sc. course need to follow the below-mentioned steps to apply online for the course.

Indian Candidates:

Fill out the registration form available on the website.
After successful online registration, Candidates have to fill out an application form and pay the fee of INR 1,500.
In the application form candidates have to upload a recent passport-size photograph, scanned copies of their school certificate/ valid passport as age proof, Graduation mark sheets and degree (Previous/Final year), and caste certificate (applicable for candidates seeking reservation quota).
