Saurashtra University has announced the DRC meeting schedule for the second round of PhD admissions for the academic session 2024-25. Candidates must present their research proposals and ensure timely attendance as per the guidelines.
Saurashtra University has published the Round 2 PhD Admission list for the DRC Meeting (Research Proposal Presentation Round). Candidates selected for PhD in Commerce are required to attend the DRC Meeting on February 12 and 13, 2025, while those selected for PhD in Physics must report on February 18, 2025, at the university.

Saurashtra University PhD (Physics) Admission 2025
The Department of Physics at Saurashtra University has scheduled the DRC meeting for PhD candidates to present their research proposals. The meeting will take place at the Biotechnology Building, Saurashtra University Campus, Rajkot.
The candidates must report on time and present their research proposals as part of the evaluation process. The list of shortlisted candidates for PhD in Physics includes:
- Trivedi Dhrumil Rajendrakumar
- Dodiya Parthkumar Bhagvatsinh
- Moida Bhavin Ghanshyambhai
- Joliya Ranjitbhai Anandbhai
- Boricha Jayesh Kishorbhai
- Maheta Kishan Satishbhai
Candidates are required to bring all relevant documents for verification and their research proposals for discussion.
Guidelines for Candidates
- Candidates must prepare a PowerPoint presentation (PPT) based on their submitted research proposals.
- Attendance is mandatory as the DRC will not conduct sessions on alternative dates. Candidates failing to report as scheduled will be considered absent.
- The final merit list and allocation of research guides will be published on the Saurashtra University website and the notice board on February 14, 2025.
