My experience in our campus

Likes

I like the ambience of our college which is rich in biodiversity, and it is a peaceful green environment campus
Our college support every students and guide us to place in various companies and our college offers may placement opportunities
The infrastructure our college is good and we have a very good lab facilities

Dislikes

we have only few oppurtunites to develop our confidence in a mixed gender environoment
There are some restrictions in the events as well as we have to get some permissions which is complicated
Too much of monitoring by the staffs reduce our personal freedom

Placement Experience:

during the 4th semester we are eligible for placements our college offers many reputited companies like acenture , infosys and AKT school and lot of students got placed and uses the oppurtunites the package is very good 60% of the students giot placed i want to go for a job

I like the environment of this college. The peaceful green environment gives me a relaxed mind .
The facilities of this college was good .
The facilities of this college was so friendly with students .

Dislikes

The toilet was so far away is the negative.
There are some dogs are allowed to do what the want is
The old building are have to renew with paints . The colour of the college is poor

The management work harder for the students life they do all the thisg and taking every steps for the students only they all time think what we can do for the students and they excute that all the time . In exam was neatly arranged and doing very well .

About my college campus and college life.

Likes

The college is very clean and hygiene. The college is surrounded by the trees .
The college provides skills to improve your intelligence and they trained you .
The college gives attention to the extra curricular activities.

Dislikes

The college strict for Sometimes that I feel .
The college has many tiny insects inside.
The college campus is unclean for sometimes.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The main aspect of mine to choose this course is , I am very interested in the zoology, so , I choose this course by myself. The curriculum prepares you for the both real world applications and for the further academic pursuits. They asked you to take seminars in the class. You can take seminar in you interested way by chalk and talk method or by PPT. The examination hours are 3 hours. It will help you to manage the time properly.

I obviously liked the environment and the campus was very large with full greenery

Dislikes

Less placement opportunities and couldn't explore much

Placement Experience:

Placement opportunity is very less. Only 2 companies visited the campus and that was a startup conpany from kanchipuram. I got selected for 15k ler month. Since I want to pursue masters I didn't get into it.

The Review of HCC

Likes

The college canteen provided delicious food.
The college provides us with transportations.
The cultural events are really fun and enjoyable.

Dislikes

The timing is quite long from 9:00-3:15.
Most of the students doesn't know about the sports happenings there.
The cost of transportation is little higher.

Course Curriculum Overview:

From my childhood I was very interested in learning maths . This actually paved way for me choosing the subject. The course has a great vacancy for jobs. And you guys are also blessed to select the course.

My Honest Opinion about Holy Cross College, Nagercoil- Give it a read!

Likes

I liked the educational conferences they provided us. Often we attended national conferences and seminars.
Extra curricular programs like RUN and CEC. We went to different villages and collected data from them for our input.
The food in canteen was good. They tried to provide us with different snacks everyday.

Dislikes

Lack of other extra curricular acitvities. Sometimes it felt like school. If they provided us with activities that improve our skills it would be better.
The lack of culturals and the time to practice is comparatively less. For example if there is to perform certain program in 10 days

Placement Experience:

Those who have completed their bachelor's are very much eligible for Campus drives. They also encourage start-up ideas. A list of 30- 40 companies will take you in for a job. About 45% of the students get placed.

I like Holy Cross college campus.environment. the environment make me like always be in Ac
Second thing I like how they maintain the environment clean and keep the environment cool. They try to make student fluent in English.This thing l like very much. Because the Tamil mediam. Student get easily understand the English
I like the hostel food very much. Though is not like home food comparing to other hostel food ,this food was tasty

Dislikes

First they not allowed mopile.long distance student is more affected.but now they are allowed
More man power need for application process long distance people get suffered for this
If more item provide in canteen student can enjoy

Course Curriculum Overview:

The faculties are so good and helpful. There is no difficulty to pass the exam. If we studied all the internal exam questions without choice and the previous year's questions we will easily pass the exam. they conduct semester exams in November and the fourth week of April. The exam in this college will be over before the next college exam is over. Suppose we failed we write re exam and then pass the exam. The student takes only one reattempt.

English literature is one to my heart as I have a perk for reading. The curriculum provided in our department is updated every year and filled with professionally trained PhD and NET scholars. We will be well trained not only in academic perspectives but also in other self-building activities which helps us strive in all weekly and monthly exams and all three-semester exams.

Remarks:

The college is really great. The college campus is nice and well built. The alumni students play a crucial role in guiding the students. The scholarship programs are also provided by the college. I am having a great time here
