Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

I'm a lover of the arts. I love writing poems. Just as English taught me about life, my mind intended me to take up English as a subject. We have exams for 3 hours and are expected to complete them on time. No grace time provided.

Internships Opportunities

2

the college does not provide you with internship companies, the students have to search on their own. I was a Content writer intern in Nagercoil and worked for 25 days. My internship was not so nice but I think various other opportunities provide you with better services and stipends

Placement Experience

4

Those who have completed their bachelor's are very much eligible for Campus drives. They also encourage start-up ideas. A list of 30- 40 companies will take you in for a job. About 45% of the students get placed.

Fees and Financial Aid

The college is divided into two categories. The Aided and the Self-finance. The students of the self-finance department have to pay 15,000 rupees per semester (overall cost). The Adied department has to pay comparatively less about 7000 rupees per semester. They conduct campus drives every year and many students get placed at various packages. The scholarship is provided to Aided departments whereas the Self-Finance can opt for other schemes provided by the college.

Campus Life

3.5

The culturals gets held whenever the college decides. The books in the library are vast and there are many several books. The classrooms have smart classes. They give importance to sports students and even take many students from the sports quota. They conduct activities like RUN and CEC to improve skils and knowledge-based outcomes.

Admission

For bachelors, you need to get 60% in your boards. The admission can be completed by the website provided by the college. Just type in Holy Cross College, Nagercoil in the search box. No entrance exams but a significant amount of mark is needed to grab your seat.

Most of our professors have done P.hD. We have a mentor day every Monday a week where they guide us in life and studies. Most of the teachers are surprisingly very kind. They have a friendly atmosphere so there will be no fear of approaching your teachers.
