Insights from my Internship Experience

English literature is one to my heart as I have a perk for reading. The curriculum provided in our department is updated every year and filled with professionally trained PhD and NET scholars. We will be well trained not only in academic perspectives but also in other self-building activities which helps us strive in all weekly and monthly exams and all three-semester exams.

The college provide different internship opportunities based on the department : Bryans Academy, Wrap and Bow, HJ Penning Publications and more. These are few provided for English department. No stipend was provided. It was done only for an experiance and stipend of Three thousand rupees will be provided. SEO and Blogging is one of the worthiest internship of mine, where I got in touch with other branches of opportunities. This interniship of six month end up exploring projects like WordPress website developing and hands on tool opportuniyies.

Holy Cross College is an Autonomous College and has both Self- Finance and Government -Aided groups. The Fee structure changes accordingly for both. The fee has to be paid for each Semester as one year has two semesters. They also provide several Scholarships based on both Government oriented scholarships and Colledge oriented.

Holy Cross College is best known for its cultural programs and other inter-college competitions. Every department has its own schedule of programs. Each month a theme is followed and celebrated. It has got a wide collection of books and an accessible library as it is one of the oldest colleges in Nagercoil. They provide Silambam, Badminton, Volleyball, Yoga, and Zumba classes in the college. The college's monthly journal is run by the students and they have an important role in handling the college website and Journal site.

The admission process at Holy Cross College was quite easy. I researched my interest, and affordability and narrowed down the stream. As for selecting the course- English Literature, the must-have eligibility criteria set by our college is 90 percent in English Language papers. The application process happened both online and offline as per the guidance.
