- The teachers in our economics department are very good.
- The college infrastructure as compared to other colleges is appreciative.
- The students in our department are really good and studious.
Dislikes
- Having classes on saturday that too in a college is hectic.
- No hostel facility this year is a disadvantage for us.
- Continuous classes on some days that too till 5 pm.
Placement Experience:
There is a dedicated placement cell of our college. Last year, there were more than 200 offers rolled out with a gross package value of 18 crores plus. The median package was 8,40,000 per annum, and the highest package offered was 23,00,000 per annum.

- Amazing infrastructure, all classrooms have air conditioners.
- Good canteen services and affordability of the same
- Various sports facilities are there, facilitating students from various sports background

- Comparatively smaller campus, seems congested

Placement Experience:
The students become eligible for campus placements in the 6th semester. Few companies which have offered placements in our college are deloitte, bain, accenture etc. the highest and average placement being 3600000 and 840000 respectively.
My plans after this degree is to opt for MBA

- The most favourite factor about my college is Diversity.It offers diverse culture,activities for overall development.
- The other most likeable thing is that here all students ,peers are very talented,They inspire and motivates everytime.
- Faculty is very open minded and up to date ,they try their best to connect with the students.
Dislikes
- The one area which can be improved is time table.The schedule is not very productive or effective.

Course Curriculum Overview:
Curriculum is old and rigid,they still teach out dated syllabus and methods and syllabus is updating very slowly.
But with the introduction of SEC and VAC and GE subjects ,students have different options which aligns with NEP.

- The crowd is very diverse, you can find every type of person from north to the south.
- The professors are very good their knowledge is incredible
- The campus remains clean and have lot of trees.
Dislikes
- The washrooms are not clean always, there is lack of cleanliness
- The ground closes at 4 pm and I think that it's too early

I don't have enough information regarding the placement but all I know is that there is a campus placement offers and it is managed by placement cell of Hansraj College. College gives enough theory knowledge but fir the soft skills we need to take extra care of that after college.

- Great academic environment as my college is too good when it comes to academics.
- Very disciplined, there's no such things happened that can ruin college reputation.

- My college is somewhere lag behind when it comes to organising good events.
Course Curriculum Overview:
In the beginning I didn't understand even a single unit like what they're trying to tech me through this but gradually I got this and started reading it thoroughly and now I'm able to do good in it without any problem and feeling better now.

- The teaching method of teachers and the library.

- Events in college are usually too short like till 5 pm only .
- Classes starts at 8:40 in winters atleast it should start by 10 .

English hons is not a course in which placement is that widespread as far as I'm aware . But our college provides placements for other courses like b.com etc and we have placement cell which keeps updating us on internship or placement opportunities and overall package is quite good .

Placement Experience:
There is a placement cell in Hansraj College which does provides placements of highest package around 25 lakh of last year and being median package around 7 lakhs, but this for selective courses like economics and BCom Honours and computer science Honours & few of mathematics honours while rest of the courses required to have different kind of skill sets can also go for placement depending up on the role that the companies bring to be hired for

- The professors are extremely experienced and great at teaching, they’re cooperating, kind and helpful. As and when you need any help, they are available. Further, everyone is assigned a professor as a mentor from their dep. who we can reach out to.
- The infrastructure is really good, we have adequate classrooms, labs and so on. These have air conditioners and all required facilities for teaching. Moreover, it caters to all including children with special needs and is extremely inclusive.
- Multiple extracurricular opportunities are available to all students, these are in form of societies, conferences, training sessions, camps and so on. The college focuses on holistic development of all rather than simply one dimensional growth.
Dislikes
- Sometimes administrative work can be slow and cumbersome.
Placement Experience:
Our college has a very active and effective placement cell. Major companies like Goldman Sachs, Bain among many others come on campus for not just placements but also internships. Average and Median packages are between 8 and 10 lakh per annum, with highest packages going up to 25 lakhs. Many also go for postgraduate education, such as MBA after CAT, or to reputed colleges like the DSE for MA.

- The Hansraj College campus is pretty much holistic and gives a peaceful vibe.
- The campus area is also big of about 15 acres which provides facilities such as cafeteria, library, playground etc.
- Teaching methodology of teacher is also pretty good and they teach in laymen language which helps student grasp concepts from its roots.
Dislikes
- The clubs and communities especially in my college are not developed till such extent that it can solely land up internship opportunities to students.
- The foods and beverage prices are pretty much high in canteen making it unaffordable for many students.
- Office work which need less work still take so much time.
Placement Experience:
Placements of my college is pretty much decent and placement percentage for courses such as BCom hons and Economics hons etc. is 60% and average package is 9,00,000 pa and highest package is 36,50,000 pa

- The faculty particularly of my course is very good and supportive with thorough experience in their respective fields.
- Campus is very vibrant, there are places where in breaks students can chill and hangout until the next class.
- Overall the infrastructure also prevails, college is held with ACs in all the classrooms
Dislikes
- I think the library timing which only till 5pm can be considered as a dislike for me.
Course Curriculum Overview:
History is a very comprehensive subject which requires deep knowledge and complete understanding of the past events. According to me this is course perfectly fits in the frame for 'close to perfect' course for History enthusiasts. Having knowledge of History of different areas helps to create a multi polar view of understanding History, which in return helps in higher academic studies.

One of my friends graduated with a B.A Economics (H) from Hansraj last year. So, I think I can answer your question.
Here are some of the best things about the institute.
- This college has an ‘old world’ feel. The infrastructure of the college is great.
- The fee structure is affordable as compared to other private colleges.
- It has some incredible graduates, including Shahrukh Khan, Ranvijay, and Anurag Kashyap. The list is really long.
- Amazing crowd, the individuals here are both fun and hardworking at the same time. Admission is based on merit in qualifying examinations.
- Some of our professors are truly amazing, you will not find such professors at other colleges, even SRCC.
- There are many societies to explore like dramatics, photography society, and fine arts society, etc.
- The hostel was my friend’s home for three years, and there is simply no better place to stay when studying at Hansraj. However, it doesn’t have a girls’ hostel.
- North Campus has the best college location.
You will not regret choosing the institute.
