At KSOM placement process starts early (towards the end of the first year). Each student has to appear in a Competency Assessment and Career Management programme. Students are evaluated on various parameters. Each student will be guided by a mentor to get proper guidance on choosing the right career path. Placement takes place in two steps: Summer Internship placement for first-year students and Final Placement for second-year students.

The Summer Internship for first-year students begins around February. Each student will be guided by a faculty member.Selected students will get a stipend for the 8 weeks.Each student has to work on a project created by the organization.They have to work on the Objective, Audience, Method, and Deliverables.A corporate guide or intern will be allocated to monitor the daily inputs of the students.Every fortnight, students will get a completion report from the corporate guide and the report will be sent to the KSOM for final evaluation.
