KSOM Placement Process
- At the end of the first year, students undergo the mandatory 2-month summer internship program in a reputed corporate house.
- The placement season usually begins around October–November and usually continues till May of the next year.
- The recruiter conducts the placement process (GD, PI, Written Test, etc.) with support from KSOM’s placement cell.

KSOM Placement 2025 FAQs
Ques. What is the placement process at KSOM?
Ans. At KSOM placement process starts early (towards the end of the first year). Each student has to appear in a Competency Assessment and Career Management programme. Students are evaluated on various parameters. Each student will be guided by a mentor to get proper guidance on choosing the right career path. Placement takes place in two steps: Summer Internship placement for first-year students and Final Placement for second-year students.
Ques. What is the process of the Summer Internship at KSOM?
Ans.
- The Summer Internship for first-year students begins around February. Each student will be guided by a faculty member.
- Selected students will get a stipend for the 8 weeks.
- Each student has to work on a project created by the organization.
- They have to work on the Objective, Audience, Method, and Deliverables.
- A corporate guide or intern will be allocated to monitor the daily inputs of the students.
- Every fortnight, students will get a completion report from the corporate guide and the report will be sent to the KSOM for final evaluation.
Ques. Is the placement process worth it for the BBA course at KSOM?
Ans. KSOM offers good placement to the students for the BBA course. The students used to get an average package of INR 9 LPA with a high package of INR 19 LPA.
