I liked some teachers who were trying to teach beyond books.
Dislikes
It doesn’t encourage much beyond the degree knowledge
Some teachers need to be replaced as they lack the abilities.
Faculty:
There are around 7-8 faculty for one batch excluding the HOD. The exam structure is there's first T1 which is of 20 marks then T2 which is also 20 marks and then there's final T3 of 35 marks and then there's teacher assessment of 25 marks and the semester is completed. We also have to give presentations of almost every subject.
I am not sure how many lectures we had for each subject but we had a tri semester pattern of examinations so most of the time was spent in class and covering up the courses. Some of the Faculty was good but most of them were very unprofessional. It's not that the faculty was not good enough but the culture was not grooming enough. Most of the faculty was into their forties settling down and seems as if there was no purpose in the lives so doing a job was it all.
The faculty was pretty talented and experienced. They were well versed in the subject matter. They all had worked in the corporate in the different sectors, on different profiles. Their experience came quite handy for us, especially the profiles and the job descriptions.
The faculty was pretty qualified and had the relevant amount of industry experience. We had a good set of faculty members who were like a full-blown package of knowledge and a suitable experience. They would share their personal experiences with us, in order to better explain a topic.
Total tentative electures on each subject is about 20-25 each electure of 90 minutes. College has a trimester system and each trimester has 5-8 subjects and in total there are around 100-140 electures in each trimester. Every faculty has done masters degrees and most of them is Ph.d as well. Every faculty has a good industry experience as well.
The 20 members faculty of the college is well versed with the industry standards, having an experience of atleast 15 years on an average providing the students with the adequate and appropriate learning experience
