DUCAT Institute of Professional Studies is a reputed educational institution offering quality education in the fields of management and information technology in Noida region. It was established in December 2000. The institute if affiliated to Punjab Technical University (PTU), Jalandhar.

DUCAT offers a plethora of courses at the undergraduate and postgraduate level including a MBA program with up to nine management specializations to choose from. It currently offers BCA, BBA, B.Sc. IT, MBA, MCA, M.Sc. IT and Post Graduate Diploma in Computer Applications (PGDCA).

Only offline mode of application has been facilitated by the institute. The admission cum examination form and prospectus are available for purchase only at DUCAT campus.
Original copies of all relevant documents must be produced at the time of admission. The original copies are returned after verification.
Candidates must pass in all the subjects of the qualifying examination in order to be eligible.
Those with a polytechnic/ ITI diploma are eligible for Lateral Entry to all applicable course.
All selections are done through Entrance Tests only. Lateral Entry candidates are selected on the basis of merit, subject to satisfying all eligibility criteria for the course applied.
Management/ NRI quota candidates are eligible for direct admission based on merit of qualifying exam.

DUCAT Institute of Professional Studies UG Admissions 2023

DUCAT Institute of Professional Studies offers 3-year degree courses in management, information technology and computer applications at the undergraduate level. The courses that are currently being offered to UG students include BCA, BBA and B.Sc. IT.

The basic eligibility criteria for admission to these programs is a pass in 10+2 or equivalent exam from a recognized board. Selection of candidates for each of these programs is done on the basis of candidates’ performance in entrance test conducted at the institute level.

The minimum duration for course completion for BBA/ BCA/ B.Sc. IT Lateral Entry is 2 years, while the maximum is four.
Candidates with 3-year polytechnic diploma/ 10+2 with 1-year diploma in Computer Application or IT/ 10+2 with ADHNT from PTU are eligible for Lateral Entry to BCA & B.Sc. IT courses.
Those who have passed 10+2 and hold a Diploma in Business Administration (DBA) from a recognized University can apply for BBA Lateral Entry to 3rd semester.

DUCAT Institute of Professional Studies offers postgraduate level degree courses in computer applications and information technology. The courses that are currently being offered by the institute include a Post Graduate Diploma in Computer Applications (PGDCA), Master’s in Computer Applications (MCA), and M.Sc. in Information Technology (M.Sc. IT).

The basic eligibility criteria for admission to these courses is a Bachelor’s degree in any disciple from a recognized institute of University. Selection of candidates is done on the basis of entrance test conducted by the institute.

The institute allows Lateral Entry to the MCA program at two stages - 3rd and 5th semester.
Candidates holding M.Sc. degree in IT or Computer Science are eligible for Lateral Entry to 3rd semester of the MCA program. The course duration for such candidates is 2 years.
Graduates with a PGDCA/ PGDIT/ ADHNT from PTU/ DOEACC A Level/ BCA/ B.Sc. (IT/ CS/ CAM) or B.E. / B. Tech degree can apply for Lateral Entry to 5th semester of the MCA program.
Course duration for M.Sc. Lateral Entry is a minimum of 1 year and maximum 3 years. Candidates with PGDCA/ PGDIT/ ADHNT/ DOEACC A Level or B.E. / B. Tech are eligible to apply for the M.Sc. Lateral Entry program.

DUCAT Institute of Professional Studies offers MBA courses is up to 9 management disciplines, viz. Marketing, Human Resource, Finance, Information Technology, Retail Management, International Business, Banking & Insurance, Hospitality & Retail, and Risk & Insurance Management.

The basic eligibility criteria for admission to the MBA program is a Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized institute or University. Candidates are selected on the basis of their performance in the MBA entrance exam conducted at the institute level.

DUCAT Institute of Professional Studies Application Process 2023

DUCAT Institute of Professional Studies accepts applications from eligible candidates through offline mode only. Prospective candidates may visit the DUCAT campus in person and purchase the application form and prospectus by paying the prescribed application fee.

The application fee and prospectus can also be requested via post by sending a DD for the prescribed application fee. Candidates must, for the purpose, send a written request with his/ her name and phone number mentioned at the reverse side of the draft.

The application process in details is as follows:

Candidates must read all the instructions carefully before filling the application form.
They are required to fill all requisite details correctly. False/ discrepancy in the information entered could lead to cancellation of admission.
Students must provide only the latest contact info, such as phone number, email id etc. All communications made by the institute thereof will be through these mediums.
They are required to sign the Anti-Ragging Undertaking at the designated space.
Self-Attested photocopies of all educational documents, viz. X, XII and Graduation (for PG candidates) marks sheets and passing certificates must be attached along with the complete application form.
All enclosures must be submitted in person/ sent by post to the institute’s admission office so as to reach within the stipulated deadline.
Additional documents such as migration certificate, character certificate, medical fitness certificate etc. must be furnished at the time of admission.

Admission:

To get admission, I had to first apply to the college, to do that , I had to fill the application form on the college website, then I submitted the marks scored in the bachelor's degree and the the college sent us a mail on accepting us to the college.

One of the Finest Institute

Admission:

One gets the admission in the institute through only offline medium. The admission form has to be purchased for the college campus. For my course, the criteria for getting admission was to qualify for the bachelor?s degree or who has appeared in their final semester exams. There is selection which happens at the institute level and then there is an Entrance which is taken by the institute.

This college has two types of seats. One general one and other seats through management quota. Admission procedure in both types is little different from one another. For general entrance exam was taken and for lateral seats selection is done on the basis of merit list.
