Does NISER have a placement cell like engineering colleges?

NISER does not have a conventional placement cell like IITs or NITs since its primary focus is research and higher studies. However, there is a Career Development Cell that tries to direct students to research careers, fellowships, and scientific positions in organizations such as BARC, ISRO, DRDO, or analytics companies. Yes, indeed. PhD students are given fellowships between INR 31,000 and INR 35,000/month, sponsored by CSIR, DST, or in-house projects.
