The placements are honestly great for the undergraduates since a lot of good companies come on campus to recruit with pretty decent packages.
I like the faculty and the course. they are all very qualified.
Over the period of two years , there are various opportunities to bag the scholarship.

Dislikes

Extra curricular activities lack sports ,
There is no campus, just one building, nothing else
Rigidity, examination scheduling, sometimes the management

What Bcom taught me : A realistic look at college life.

Likes

Infrastructure is too good in minimal fees
Atmosphere is very nice and you gotta see the extraordinary crowd. Every student is focused and ahead in every activity.
Extra curricular activities. Good fests and events are conducted

Dislikes

Early morning lectures 6:45am . It should be atleast 7:30am
Network problem . mobile data doesn’t connect and wifi is useless
There should be more fun events and fest. Focus is more on Academics like 75%

From SY end and in TY students become elegible for training and placement. Companies like PWC EY KPMG AND DELOITTE , zomato , icici bank and morgan stanley give offers and offer between 4Lakhs to 19lakhs. Plans after getting degree - LLB

Narsee monjee worth the hype?

Likes

The name of the college is big and renowned
Faulty is motivated and want to do good for the students
There are events going on continuously . There are about 30-35 committee which keeps you motivated

Dislikes

There is no campus . Attendence is a big isse
There is a makeshift building and a sewage bang opposite
The bcom being an easy degree holds a disadvantage in comparison to other other degrees

The course is relevant .updated every year . It is according to the NEP policy and also has pratical applicability . Teaching methods are great . Exams are conducted every month . You are busy with projects , discussions etc

Nm college - the emerged star !

Likes

There are amazing clubs to be a part of and learn things like execution,planning,finance,nature,economics and much more . Also the crowd of diversity steps into NM college giving people an idea of different nature of people and friends .Collegearlies
No buisness towards student is made rules need to be followed strict actions for ragging are taken
Fest are the best at Nm college and amazing networking opportunity is provided in the college

Dislikes

Management is ruthless when it comes to attendance issues as nothing below 75 percent of attendence is accepted
There is no.play ground in the college which leads to crowdedness in Gymkhana
Exams are very competitive and to score 9 cgpa is difficult there

Big 4 companies come to nm college to pick up the bright minds that study in the college. Due to the reputation of nm college every other organisation quickly accepts the candidate's minimum monthly package of rs. 30000 can be earned

Amazing academically inclined college. STRICT Attendance

Likes

Qualified teacher which guide you in career advancement
Neat and tidy campus and centralised air conditioned
High placement opportunities and the syallabus is updated

Dislikes

No internship opportunity inside the campus
No outdoor sports facilities in the campus
Strict 75% attendance you will be barred from giving the exams if your attendance is less than 70

Placement Experience:

Almost 80% of the students get placed. The top recruting companies are kpmg, delloit, pwc and other CA firms. The average package is around 5-6 lakhs rupees. My plan is not to go for campus placement as I want to do master's after bachelors

NM college: one of the best

Likes

The training and placement cell of the college is extremely effective and provides internship opportunities frequently
There are a lot of clubs, committees and societies to participate in and gain experience in various fields.
The infrastructure provided is outstanding.

Dislikes

The attendance rules being followed are too strict
The professors do not always give study materials

Placement Experience:

The training and placement cell works effectively. My plans after the degree include completing my CA Final, and then aiming for CFA and CPA. Since I am yet to graduate, I do not have much idea about placements. However, the Training and Placement Cell also arranged Industrial Training sessions and helps in getting Internships.

Overall campus of the college and the environment
All college clubs and committees taught me a lot
Teachers are well experienced with good degrees

Dislikes

So the college have compulsory attendance
And the very early morning lectures that is 6.45 am
Attendance in college is compulsory to 45%

Placement Experience:

So yes college does provide campus placement opportunities to the students and the overall placement opportunity is on the safe side, the average package may be around 7 lakhs and highest is around 20 lakhs.

College Experience

Likes

I personally love the college’s infrastructure, amenities and services that they provide. The curriculum that they follow is very straight forward and up to the mark which gives the student the opportunity of the best education.
The college has some amazing fests and organisations which makes it so much better for each student to learn outside books and gain knowledge through experience. They’re also very particular about the students attendance which makes it better as it
helps in improving sincerity among students. The college focuses on students aiming and scoring high.

Dislikes

I think some teachers are a little strict to the point where it’s unnecessary as it’s not a school. specially in junior college. They could be more relaxed considering it’s college
There should be more social interactions. The college follows a curriculum which is limiting to books and classrooms, they should organise practical learning and activities

this course is perfect for students pursuing something in finance, it helps them gain the basic understanding in the field of accountancy and finance, also giving them time to approach important courses along by its side, like CA CFA ACCA ETC

Everything about Narsee monjee college of commerce and economics

Faculty- Our Faculty was quite good, They tried to make us understand us each concept in a very good Way.
Course Curriculum- Our Curriculum was quite Impressive, It was a mix of Practical And theoretical Learning, which is very important for a overall growth.
Social Life - Their are so many committees in our college, which gives a great opportunity to make network.

Dislikes

Procedure to get into the college- So After the list comes, they only gives 3 days of time for enrollment

Placement Experience:

I did not sit for the placement , so I am not very much aware about the placement, but placements are their in the college, many of my friends opt for the same.

The reality of NM College.

Likes

The way the teacher explains the syllabus.
The hell lot of extra curricular in the college.
The infrastructure of the college is just awesome.

Dislikes

College strictness for the attendance, it's really very strict and if it's not upto to mark then you get debbared and your year is wasted
To much crowd in the lift and at the corridors of the college.
No ground or turf in the college for roaming and enjoying.

From third year or fifth semester you start to get placement. Deloitte, TCS, Infosys visit the campus. 75% gets placed. My plan is to start my own venture. The highest placement for bcom is 14 lakh and average is 5 lakh and for bns highest is 19 lakh and the average is 8 lakh.
