The placements are honestly great for the undergraduates since a lot of good companies come on campus to recruit with pretty decent packages.
I like the faculty and the course. they are all very qualified.
Over the period of two years , there are various opportunities to bag the scholarship.

Dislikes

Extra curricular activities lack sports ,
There is no campus, just one building, nothing else

NM college: one of the best

Likes

The training and placement cell of the college is extremely effective and provides internship opportunities frequently
There are a lot of clubs, committees and societies to participate in and gain experience in various fields.
The infrastructure provided is outstanding.

Dislikes

The attendance rules being followed are too strict
The professors do not always give study materials

Placement Experience:

The training and placement cell works effectively. My plans after the degree include completing my CA Final, and then aiming for CFA and CPA. Since I am yet to graduate, I do not have much idea about placements. However, the Training and Placement Cell also arranged Industrial Training sessions and helps in getting Internships.

Culture, Course subjects, teaching style, environment

Placement Experience:

I haven't heard much about this from my seniors but the college does provide good placements with an average package of around 600000 INR and the highest package as far as I know was 1400000 INR. So one can consider this a good placement for a bachelor's degree.

One shot review about NMCCE

Likes

Faculty is interactive and solves doubts.
Infrastructure is great and suitable for learning.
Assignments and projects are practical based.

Dislikes

There is no campus, just one building, nothing else

Placement Experience:

In third year, students are eligible to apply for placements through college. Other than that, internship opportunities are posted from the first year itself. I am not planning for sitting for the placement round.

One of the best colleges in India

Teaching pedagogy adopted by all the teachers

Insufficient notes provided to students for all subjects

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for placements in 6th semester. As per 2023 report more than 35 companies visited and around 150 students got olaced. Highest package was 14.10 lacs p.a. offered by Axxela Financial Services. Futures First offered package of 12.88 lacs p.a. Average salary offered was 6 lacs p.a.

Likes

Overall campus of the college and the environment
All college clubs and committees taught me a lot
Teachers are well experienced with good degrees

Dislikes

So the college have compulsory attendance
And the very early morning lectures that is 6.45 am
Attendance in college is compulsory to 45%

Placement Experience:

So yes college does provide campus placement opportunities to the students and the overall placement opportunity is on the safe side, the average package may be around 7 lakhs and highest is around 20 lakhs.

College Experience

Likes

I personally love the college’s infrastructure, amenities and services that they provide. The curriculum that they follow is very straight forward and up to the mark which gives the student the opportunity of the best education.
The college has some amazing fests and organisations which makes it so much better for each student to learn outside books and gain knowledge through experience. They’re also very particular about the students attendance which makes it better as it
helps in improving sincerity among students. The college focuses on students aiming and scoring high.

Dislikes

I think some teachers are a little strict to the point where it’s unnecessary as it’s not a school. specially in junior college. They could be more relaxed considering it’s college
There should be more social interactions. The college follows a curriculum which is limiting to books and classrooms, they should organise practical learning and activities

Course Curriculum Overview:

this course is perfect for students pursuing something in finance, it helps them gain the basic understanding in the field of accountancy and finance, also giving them time to approach important courses along by its side, like CA CFA ACCA ETC

Life as an SVKM student

Likes

The course structure was comprehensive and covered both finance and management.
The faculty was however the best part, NM has the most helpful and insightful teachers who guide you through your entire journey
The placement cell gets both internships and jobs from top notch companies making it easier for students to access opportunities which would be harder to grab otherwise

Dislikes

75% compulsory attendance, in all the semesters is a hassle to handle
the disciplinary committee in college can be very strict
Extra curricular activities lack sports ,

The tranining and placement cell does manage to get the best companies for campus placement. their are training sessions to prepare students for the recruitment process , which incolves resume building, personal interview, counselling

Everything about Narsee monjee college of commerce and economics

Faculty- Our Faculty was quite good, They tried to make us understand us each concept in a very good Way.
Course Curriculum- Our Curriculum was quite Impressive, It was a mix of Practical And theoretical Learning, which is very important for a overall growth.
Social Life - Their are so many committees in our college, which gives a great opportunity to make network.

Dislikes

Procedure to get into the college- So After the list comes, they only gives 3 days of time for enrollment

Placement Experience:

I did not sit for the placement , so I am not very much aware about the placement, but placements are their in the college, many of my friends opt for the same.

The reality of NM College.

Likes

The way the teacher explains the syllabus.
The hell lot of extra curricular in the college.
The infrastructure of the college is just awesome.

Dislikes

College strictness for the attendance, it's really very strict and if it's not upto to mark then you get debbared and your year is wasted
To much crowd in the lift and at the corridors of the college.
No ground or turf in the college for roaming and enjoying.

From third year or fifth semester you start to get placement. Deloitte, TCS, Infosys visit the campus. 75% gets placed. My plan is to start my own venture. The highest placement for bcom is 14 lakh and average is 5 lakh and for bns highest is 19 lakh and the average is 8 lakh.

Narsee Monjee College of Commerce is one of the leading Commerce colleges in the country. It is also known as a ‘CA factory’. The name is appropriate, given that around 75% of students of each batch become CA. NM offers good academics and learning resources.

Many reputed companies such as Deloitte, KPMG, PWC, etc. visit NM College of Commerce placements. The average CTC offered in the campus placement is around INR 4 LPA.
