The admission process at NM College is straightforward, with preference given to students from GPP High School, affiliated with Kelavani Mandal. The college is renowned for its highly qualified faculty, especially in CA and CFA courses, where students are taught by experienced Chartered Accountants. The faculty is approachable and supportive, although there is a mix of good and average professors, which is common in educational institutions. Educational fees have increased over the years due to the rise of various educational boards like IB and IG.

The total fee for the entire course is around 300,000. Despite the fee hike, scholarships are available and can be applied for annually. The college's placement cell offers impressive opportunities, including mandatory paid internships after the second year, leading to permanent placements eligibility after the third year, with an average salary package between 5-6 lakhs. Although BCom internships are not mandatory, students have secured high-paying roles in companies like Morgan Stanley, JP Morgan, and Goldman Sachs.

Internships are available from May to August, supported by the training and placement cell, which also provides training in resume building, personal interviews, and counseling. The college is autonomous, creating its own curriculum separate from government-prescribed ones.
