Likes

teaching staff is good and approachable to students
cultural activities are good and fests are are arranged
discipline is well maintained in the college

Dislikes

placement are not provided good and only after 3 rd year
infrastructure is not that good can be improved
practical knowledge is not given in the subjects

Course Curriculum Overview:

the cultural part was good of this college and academically also good is this college the real world implications are not taught much except for income tax and accounts the exams are conducted on a 2 month gap

Best college for commerce students

Likes

The college is only for Commerce students so it is specialised in commerce
The college is a newly built and therefore, the infrastructure. is new and highly developed
The college offers various programs or groups of which students can join and improve their personality

Dislikes

Canteen facility is there in college but does not offers good food.
There is lack of discipline in the college as students bunk classes
During the elections time of the university, everyone is engaged in election and study is not given that much importance.

Placement Experience:

Students from 5th semester are eligible for placements. There are many big names such as Deloitte, KPMG, EY and Trident visit for recruitment and they offer decent packages for freshers ranging from the highest to 12 lakhs per annum and average package around 3 lakhs per annum. Almost 90% students got placed. I have a plan to pursue Company Secretary course after my graduation.

NO.1 College for Commerce in Chandigarh

Likes

Quality Study provided by the best qualified staff. Moreover, almost every teacher has done Phd in their respective subjects
Study with PowerPoint presentation personally made by the teachers itself.
Good Infrastructure and notes given by the teachers themselves

Dislikes

As it's a commerce college, so no. of students are less as compared to other colleges.
Very less co curricular activities comparing to other colleges.
There are only two parties prevalent in the college campus i.e NSUI and ABVP.

Placement Experience:

Highest placement of my college is 5.6 lakh per year. Many big companies come here due to the only commerce college in Chandigarh. Companies like Godrej, Infosys, Trident etc. come here to take bcom graduates. 3rd year students are eligible for the placements.Moreover, many internship opportunities are provided by the college with minimum 25000/- package per month.

Focuses towards study more and faculty is good
Newly built college has gym, good canteen, nice classrooms
there is plenty of parking space even a basement parking

Dislikes

College is really boring there are very few students
Gym,table tenis,reading rooms are always locked
there are very few extra curriculum activities

Course Curriculum Overview:

Bachelor Of Commerce overall is not that good of a course just a graduation degree but its very affordable someone after bcom can expext a salary of around 20000 per month, curriculm is focused on accounts,economics and law

Honest Review Around Government college of Commerce and Business Administration.

Placement Experience:

After Semester 3, Students Starts Getting Into internships provided by the college. And start Getting The Real Field View Of How Actually Things Work incorporates the World. And After Semester 5, Students are eligible For Campus placement. Many companies are coming to our college Like Wipro, Infosys, And intel. The average Package is 3.5 LAKH PER ANNUM Lowest Package is Around 1 Lakh per annum and Highest Package is Around 6-7 Lakhs Per Annum. Only 20-30% of students Only Get Placements.

Pros and Cons of GCCBA

Placement Experience:

After 5th-semester students become eligible for campus placements and companies like EY, KPMG etc come for placement drives and give really great packages. About 50% of the students get their placements in such drives. Average packages are around 3 Lakhs to 4 Lakhs.

Placement Experience:

There are no such placement opportunities provided by the college after b.com but there is a placement cell that gives you updates about the ongoing vacancy in the Tricity. One can apply for various internships right from the 1st year but placements are done in the final semester.

Considered to be one of the best Commerce College

Placement Experience:

College do conduct a Job fair. But jobs offered are like 7k p.m. that was my monthly rent of PG. Considering it a good commerce college placement offered in campus were not upto the mark
