Likes

I like the environment and the campus of the college
There are credits for being in the extracurricular activities
Everyone gets chance to showcase themselves in the events

Dislikes

In summer it gets really due to lack of cooling equipments
It comes on the outwards of nagpur so we tired daily traveling to college if living in the same city.
Drinking water was not good until last year

Placement Experience:

In the 7th sem, students becomes eligible for placements. The college directly lists students according to their eligibility that where they can easily be fit candidate for the company and try to work on that way. Before getting eligible, college provides a one month course as "Campus Recruitment Training" where they teach us everything about how to approach companies and pass their tests and clear interview rounds including group discussion round.

Likes

The college gives good vibe and atmosphere, the campus has greenery everywhere which is well maintained. you feel like you are in a college with lots of canteen has lawns to spend time
the training and placement department works on our skill development form the 1st year and has a dedicated course every semister called and YCAP

Dislikes

desk and benches could be better in classrooms

Placement Experience:

The training and placement cell is very active. The college starts prepareing for the campus from the 1st year itself, the college have programe called ycap which get divided into two category technical and apptitude sessions , these are regular classes in the timetable, the technical session help develops the coding skills and apptitude helps develope logical skills

First thing to take in note is yeshwantrao chavan College of engineering is that it is aggregated A++ rank from naac, the infrastructure of the college is good and the campus is huge. The college management do regular improvement in infrastructure
The college have one big auditorium and one. small auditorium. Along with that the college have separate mini auditorium for each departments. All the departments have necessary more than enough equipments for practical knowledge for students
The most appreciatable thing about YCCE is they regularly conduct skill improvement and skill development course which help students to gain knowledge for extracurricular activities and skill required for specific branch.

Dislikes

The projectors of class doesn't work properly. Either they have technical problems or they doesn't start. The projectors are outdated. So, I think the projectors should bhi changed
It is very difficult for students attend classes in summer. The coolers are not available for them.the College doesn't pay attention in providing cooler for each class in summer

Course Curriculum Overview:

The electronics and telecommunication engineering focus on IT as well as core based courses. So if the students are confused if they want to go in core or IT branch, ETC branch is best for them. Also telecommunication The monthly tests had moderate difficulty level where as the final exam

YCCE - Choose wisely

Likes

Campus is good and as it is on a hill, it seems pretty good in rainy days
Placement in Computer Technology branch is quiet good
Experienced faculty and they also support us if we ask for there suppor6

Dislikes

There is a college for the whole day from 9 to 5
Students do not get time to prepare from their side
Assignments and submissions are having very high priority which must be reduced

Course Curriculum Overview:

Courses and well structured and upto date. But some subjects are there related to environment and all which are there in the curriculum which provide students moral values. Some teachers just use smart kard to teach which must be avoided and must use black board to explain concepts to students The frequency of exams is very high specially in even semester which can be improved

Likes

The Institute focus on overall development of student with both technical and non technical manner.
The best thing is greenery of college and good environment.
The faculty is satisfactory and teaching in good enough.

Dislikes

The computers in lab are not updated according to future.
The water problem arises in summer leads to more problem to students.
The attendance criteria is strictly followed more than 75 percent.

Placement Experience:

Placement is satisfactory as average is 4lakh for core branches. Also highest package is 24lpa.But Ressession causes unemployment. This year 23-24 batch suffer a lot for placement. But average is about 4 lpa only.

Discipline-It is an autonomous college so everything is in discipline.
The campus is so huge and big, we have each and every facility there, they have upgraded labs too
Teaching faculty at my time was also very efficient, they have very good skills and knowledge about the course

Dislikes

Parking facility, they should improve in that, as the campus is at very height.

Placement Experience:

From the 7th semester students are able to get campus placements, the companies visted was mindtree, tcs, etc after getting the degree i preceived some more courses, the campus depends on the course you have selected for electronics and communication they were very less core companies

Likes

YCCE has huge, beautiful green Campus with great futuristic Infrastructure. Also the placement is good.
Campus has 3 canteens, auditorium, conference rooms, great labs and classrooms having capacity of 60 to 70 people
Faculty is great, helpful. All of them are great at there respective subject. Most of them are with phd and experience of average 4 to 15 years.

Dislikes

YCCE has more theoretical curriculum which sometimes gets overwhelming. They should make it more practical.
There fees structure is just not suitable for middle class people.
They don't provide relevant knowledge which will lead to make the student future career ready.

Placement Experience:

In 7th semester, placement process starts. To get eligible for placemen, one should not have any backlocgs. Companies like Capgemini, Accenture, Mahindra, TCS, Infosys any many more 100 companies visit every year. Highest package is 20lap and average is 4 lpa. I am 2023 passout and currently working in Capgemini as an jr. Analyst.

I loved the fest and management of fest.. and the events that are conducted
The campus is very good and it is maintained properly
Library is too good as it provides latest books

Dislikes

Exam schedule is very strict.. they never postpone their exams
Rexam fees is too costly.. it takes lots of money
College don’t give a good vacation after a semester

Placement Experience:

Placements are average as recession is going on in the market so because of that the number of students placed is less my plans would sound like I will do a job for 2 years and then do master or mba in cloud or security

Active participation of students in Technical Clubs.
Timely Feedbacks are taken from students.
Faculty are available for Research Projects.

Placement Experience:

Generally, since 6th semester, students are eligible for internships and trainings. College does provide us with Campus Internships and Placements. Training and Placement cell of YCCE is very active and they keep notifying students about the new opportunities and skills they should aquire for placements.
