The campus is that huge the annual fest is teknieks its good as special as you and see in iits and nits the classrooms are pretty old sports are encouraged you have a good opportunity as a sports student
Good scholarship opportunity i am from snq quota which stands for a small numerical quota as i only pay 35000 every year there are a lot of scholarship opportunities and many scholarships up to 50,000 are received by my friends.
The faculties are very much supportive and kind also their teaching is also good.

Dislikes

The teachers are good and helping but the learning experience is average as the basic concepts are over dealt and the practical approach is very less and insignificant which makes it irritating and boring.
Hostel facilities are not that good as some toilets are broken, wifi is bad, tec.
Here faculties are very strict they cause a lot of chaos for attendance and deduct marks if you lose attendance lab exams are all conducted very strictly thus increasing the education quality for students.

Likes

Coding culture here is really nice and it makes a competitive environment
Placement is really good, as majority of the students get placed with good offer
Infrastructure is also great they provide great facilities

Dislikes

Hostel is very far from college outside city
Minimum attendance criteria is 85% that is very high
Campus area is not very large, and campus life is ot bad but we can't say it's excellent

Placement Experience:

After 4th semester, students start getting pre placed in companies There was a company named JP Morgan and few around 5-6 offers were made in the end of second year Highest package was 56lpa and average was 12.5lpa of cse, and 8-9 in general Around 96-97% students got placed My plan after getting the degree is to get placed in a good company

Facts about NIE mysore

Likes

The placements are quite good and we get good future opportunities
The buildings are new for cse ise and aiml students
Bus facility is provided to reach the north campus

Dislikes

The north campus of nie is located in a isolated area
The campus is still on the making phase so we have to compromise on few things
The hostel is near South campus which is 15 km from North campus

Placement Experience:

The campus placements are quite good the average package is cse was 12lpa highest was 54lpa and for ise AVG was 12.85 lpa and highest was 33 lpa. The major recruiters are Mercedes Benz r&d,Jpmc, fidelity etc.

Everything about The National Institute of Engineering

Likes

I like the diversity here, people from different parts of India.
This place has a nice weather and its warm and comfortable
The college holds nice tech events and tech fests

Dislikes

I dont like fees to facilities ratio here
There is only one annual cultural fest and else there is none throughout the year
The campus life is pretty average and it gets a little boring at times if you let it get to you.

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for campus placements from the end of 3rd year itself I suppose. Placements here are very nice. Big companies like Mercedes-Benz, Samsung, Intel, etc, visit here and give outstanding offers. As per my branch, the highest placement is 44 lakhs and the average is 12.85 lakhs as of this year.

Nie mysore from inside

Placement is good as it is very old college so it has a good reputation in Karnataka
Location is best mysore is very clean and temperature is moderate here.

Placement Experience:

If you are in CSE or ISE the placements are way better than most of the colleges in Karnataka. The placement opportunities in other branches are comparatively less. Reputed core companies like merecedes benz, toyota, tvs, etc. visits for MECHANICAL and IPE. So overall the placements at NIE is good. Highest package is 43.14 lpa and average package is around 11 lpa in tech branches.

A QUICK REVIEW ON THE NATIONAL INSTITUTE OF ENGINEERING

Likes

FACULTY are good and interactive. The faculty student ratio is also good
The climate here in Mysore is good and cool.
The placements are quite decent and provide opportunities to everyone

Dislikes

The campus is not that large and the infrastructure is decent
There isn't much diversity in the campus
The timings of the college is hectic and the workload is more

Placement Experience:

From third semester students are available for placements. The highest package is 5600000 and the average of cse is 1200000. Companies like JP MORGAN,MERCEDES R&D, etc. visit the college. Almost 80 to 85 percent of students got placed. I am planning to work as a software engineer after my btech

Likes

Placements are quite good for a private college
Mysore city is very clean and lights up during dussehra
Faculty are decent. Some although are bad but many are helpful.

Dislikes

Food in hostel is not up to the mark. Although bearable ,not very enjoyable
The curriculum for first semester is not very relevant for computer science and seems like a waste of time.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placement from 5th semester. Many companies like Deloitte ,lowes,visa,etc visit . Almost all from cse and ise branch are placed. Highest package is around 40 lakh for cse and average is almost 12-13 lakh. Almost 90-95% of students get placed. I want to find my passion in the tech field and grow in it.

Placement Experience:

From 5th semester students are eligible for placements.There are around 150 companies visiting campus placement every year. The highest package is 54LPa and average is 10Lpa. Placement percentage is around 90%

It is a very good placement and faculties are very good.

Dislikes

Food is not good as I am from north. Communication problem is there.

Placement Experience:

From third year onwards the students are eligible for campus placements. Around 800 company visited last year and 600 got placed. Approximately 95% of students get placed in CS department in 98% of students get placed in Is department. After getting the degree I want to do job.

Academics are good overall and most of the professors are cooperative
Our college provides additional certificates
Clubs are really good of this college and they organise fun events

Dislikes

Attendance criteria is pretty high that is 85%
Fees is slightly high so ROI of the college decreases
The hostel is very far away from College that is 18km

Course Curriculum Overview:

I have always been interested in Computer Science and Engineering therefore i Opted it also it has a descent package. 1 faculty for around 60 students. Most of the faculty have High teaching experience and PHD Its was short exam and the difficulty was easy to moderate.

NIE NORTH CAMPUS REVIEW

Likes

Campus was beautiful and it was overall good.
Hostels are fine too and nearby places are fine to visit
Teachers are very good and supportive and support anytime you need

Dislikes

The food quality at hostel is not quite good.
The campus is situated near industrial area so no shops nearby.
The north campus is quite small so less place to roam.

Placement Experience:

From 4rth sem every student are eligible for placements and many have got 20+ lpa in end of 4rth sem. Percentage is 95 as some get in foreign for higher studies. I'm planning to get a good placement and further developing my skills to do something more
