SKIT Application Process 2025

SKIT Jaipur enrolls candidates based on their National and State Level Entrance scores. Seats are allocated based on a Centralised Counselling process. Candidates must note that there is no cutoff for SKIT Jaipur. The institute enrolls candidates based on their JEE Mains score.

Eligible candidates, if interested, may apply to SKIT Jaipur’s BTech program by following the steps given below.

Candidates may register on the official website of REAP.
Payment of INR 700 is to be made at an E-Mitra Kiosk Centre.
The Kiosk will then generate a 12 or 16-digit token number for the candidate.
This token number can be used at the e-Mitra portal for accessing the application.
Candidates are advised to save a copy of the fee payment receipt.

Ques. What is an honest review of SKIT Jaipur?

Ans. Students and alumni claim that SKIT is an average college. SKIT Jaipur's average package is around INR 4 LPA to INR 7 LPA, and it is limited only to IT aspirants. Coming to its fest and cultural activities, it is subpar and nothing special. One is not allowed to leave campus if they have entered once. They are only allowed after the shift ends. At least 60% attendance is required to sit in exams, and only in the 4th year, you will be allowed relaxation. You have to wear uniforms; even the tie and shoes can be checked, and one can be denied entry based on that. Their guards are very difficult to deal with, as well.

Ques. Which is better: SKIT Jaipur or JECRC Jaipur?

Ans. According to our research, students suggest that you should prefer to go to JECRC. SKIT is not a college; it is like a school, where you will get trained but will not be able to learn any new things. You will just go to college, attend classes, and then return to home. You will learn nothing special. SKIT grants no holidays, even on government holidays. JECRC does not have many restrictions on attendance or bunks. This helps you to participate in various college activities. There is no dress code. Here, you can also join several college groups that will nurture your personality. And after four years you will see yourself with a different personality. Academics are like every other college, the course is based on RTU.

Likes

The quality of education is very good in skit. The test papers, practice sessions, assignments, curriculum are very apt for developing one's skillset.
Placements drives have been arranged for the betterment of students so that students get fair opportunities.

Dislikes

Education comes from great teachers and here some teachers are not so good.
Rules for student affairs is not very good. There is a cell referred as OSA ( Office of Student Affairs ) but its not that much supporting.
Teachers do promote self development but only to an extend.

College organised campus placements in college itself every year in which students of 3rd, 4th year are eligible to appear. Several Companies visits college placements every year in which most of them are well known. Companies listed below : TATA Consultancy Services ( TCS ) Infosys Wipro Cognizant HCL Technologies Tech Mahindra Honeywell Bosch John Deere Adani Group Ashok Leyland. Highest Package offered till date : 27 lakhs ( on campus ) Average Package offered till date : 5 lakhs ( on campus ) Every year 85 to 90 % students gets campus placements. My plans after this btech thing....I might persue Mtech from IIT's.

Internship opportunity and eligibility criteria

SKIT provies internships such as : Summer Internships Semester Internships Industrial Training Companies also offer good internships to eligible students in various departments. Recently I also did Python Programming Training from College itself which was a phenomenal experience.

College events, various clubs and facilities available in campus

Name of Annual Fest : PRAVAH ( Feb-Mar ) A wide range of books are available in Library including Course books, Reference books, Competitions books. Every year annual sports day is organised named AAVEG in college premises. Sports include Cricket, Football, Table Tennis, Badminton etc. Clubs are there for ectra curricular activies which includes dance clubs, music clubs, innovation club, technical clubs, coding clubs etc.

Course structure and its competitiveness

Swami Keshvanand Institute of Technology offers a variety of courses mainly Engineering and in Computer Applications. Relevance of curriculum includes industry alignment, practical exposure, soft skills development. Comprehensiveness of the curriculum is very vast. It covers a wide range of courses which can be persued from the College. Skit also encourages research and innovation.

Students view on hostel facilities

Hostel room are not so big. Student is provided with one table, bed and a cupboard and a fan. For summers, ducts have been there in complete Hostel. There are 4 meals in mess which includes Breakfast, Lunch, Snacks, and Dinner. Food Quality is 7 out of 10 which is a decent rating.

Faculties and their interactions with students

The quality of Education is very good in SKIT Faculties are well trained to handle each student but some are not so good. In a class of 60 students, everyone gets enough time to get their doubts solved. Approch of teaching is well enough so that student can be easily opened up with all their doubts and understandings. Staff rooms are there for interactions and if any doubt or student need any help, they can simply go to their staff room and they get good support and teachers help them to resolve their issues.

Admission process and eligibility criteria

Admission is done on merit list made from JEE MAINS rank and REAP RANK. Appication from needs to be filled in order ot take admission which can be collected from college's official site or students can take it from college itself. Reservations are there for each category including SC, ST, OBC, Gen-EWS. There is no Entrance exam as such cause JEE MAINS rank is the main criteria for admission.

Admission:

The first one is because it is situated in main city there is easy transportation services and every thing is available easily and admission thorough REAP but form now I don't know and for safety purpose it is good college

My experience at SKIT College

Admission:

I choose this college because this college us ranked no 1 in rajasthan for technical education. This is nirf ranked and RTU affiliated college but this college is become Autonomous. No i only applied for this college so I do not get any rejections from other colleges. Admission process is In jee you need to score more than 94 percentile to secured a Computer Science branch,there is also a management quota in that 5 lakh is given to college apart from college fees to get desired branch. Jee is mainly accepted by college for Admissions.But Autonomous college take test for Admission.

FROM SKIT ONLY GET PLACEMENT DON'T EXPECT FUN.

regarding , mess food it is very bad students who live in hostel they sometime ate outside. college is small Infracture is not good in computer lab some time keyboard and some time mouse was not workingproperly.college wifi is not working properly.
One thing I don't like of SKIT is Poor sports facility they dont provide basketball,volleyball before 1;30 if you want to play take your own personal ball.In case of cricket,If you take your own cricket kit you can not play in ground before 11 o clo
The thing I don't like is management of SKIT , doesn't hear . It doesn't put interest on to make washroom hygenic ,water tank for drinking water if too dirty ,one time insects was come in water .some time the urine was scarred in washroom due too lea

Admission:

I applied for college like LMNIIT Jaipur,BIT jaipur.But I didn't take admission there because the fee of these college is too high .i cant afford it.i also applied purnima college and jecrc foundation, but everyone says that skit is much better than purnima and jecrc in education or placement also.skit is good for those students who want to do something. It is strict college it is good for students. In admissions you first give jee mains paper. Then you applied in REAP it same as joosa counselling in REAP you get reap rank .then according too reap rank you get college. Reap rank is depent your jee main rand and class 12 pcm percentage. If someone doesn't give jee main he can applied for REAP . But first preference is give to rhe student who give jee main .cutoff is based on reap rank .i can give you rough ide that i get 94000 rank in jee main 2024 and 88.60 percentage in12 my pcm percentage is 96.i get 751 open reap rank and 250 obc rank.

Experience of fests in this college is amazing.

The rate of the uniform of the college is not up to the mark.
Uniform of this college is not comfortable to be wear in everyday basis.

Admission:

Basically I choose this college because of the placements in the college is very good. The highest package of this college is 40 lacs per annum and the average package is 6 lakhs per annum which is a decent package for a private University.

Our college is on 1st rank in rajasthan technical university's ranking criteria. This was the main reason why i selected this college. Other than that the placements are good enough for every branch. My admission criteria was from REAP. I applied in REAP and according to my priority SKIT was first and JECRC foundation was second. They also check JEE ranks and 10th plus 12th class percentage and allot the branch as per ypur performance.

Life at Swami keswanand institute of technology (SKIT), JAIPUR

Admission:

I am only apply for this college as my first choice of reap counselling and my favourite branch computer science and engineering . And I got it in 1st round of counselling at 91.6 percentile. This is the best college ranked no.1 so I choice it and prefer it to my one position. I don't want to go in government college of Rajasthan so I choice it. As I discuss to my all classmates the admission are from both management kota and reap counselling. Students of general category at 80 percentile get cse branch Obc 75 above percentile ST/SC 60+ percentile.

The total fees for MBA course at SKIT Jaipur is INR 1,50,000 for 2 years and yes, students are offered placements. However, you need to appear for RMAT/CMAT followed by GD and PI to get selected.
