Surely scholarships are eligible for help to achieve higher education goals and less stress financial assistance are money for financial problem.
Famous personality people would be giving speeches during the time..and also a fun-filled environment involved with fun-loving and creative people involved in it ..classroom seating arrangement and ppt presentation for implementation were too good.
Placements are good and the organisation is dragging great companies that are both improving the career of students as well college name.

Dislikes

Hostel food and canteen foods are poor and catering service are too not gud and not satisfied
Some staffs are punishing unwanted innocent students
Staffs are very strict and have harsh behaviour towards students

Life at Sona

Likes

Many clubs are there to reach out students.
Yearly two cultural competitions will be held.
Not much strict campus. Placements training are good here.

Dislikes

Canteen can be improved. We have 4 canteens including a pastry in the campus. But the college canteen is poor. Other 3 canteens will be good.
Placement guidance can be provided from 1st semester itself

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course contents are more than enough to prepare for gate exams. Very standard materials. Class timing will be 50 mins for each hour. If you listen the class the curriculam will be easy. I would suggest to use main board other than projectors to teach class.

Facilities are tooo good and friendly they will show you right path to grow
Management give you fully freedom to play sports and participate in other colleges and tournament
Hostel foods are awesome but it's veg ,neat and hygiene area

Dislikes

Disliked Because they only giving veg foods
Hostel rooms are not comfortable it's not that much spacious
Disliked Because they will not allow you to go home without permission

Placement Experience:

Yeah Placements are tooo good and management will train you to attend placement and give you a piece of advices then you know what to do in interview and more companies are hiring so no worries on placement

Likes

Friendly teachers with well knowledge teacher and well presentabel
Free periods are not occupied by staff for extra period . So it does not interfere with pt uours
The study plan is well adjustable and well routined and followed accordingly

Dislikes

The class room can be maintained with extra care since it has crack
The library computer can be setup more since it has less number in library
The cafeteria can be made one more since it is more crowded during recess

From 6 semister we are eligible for placement Upto 20 - 26 company visit our clg with minimum 5 offeres Highest package - 12 lacks per annum Upto 90% get placed every year My plan is to work in the reputed mnc

They conduct many programs, technical, non technical events like hackthon, paper presentation, verthon, etc...
The college infrastructure is well and good. Here we have all facilities to learn and practice coding. Here they have lab, library to learn many things.
In this college wr have club like english club to impove communication skill, tamil mandram, bulid in club to improve ideas such as technical and get intraction with senior and staff.

The things I like in our college is our library hich is very useful for me to upgrade myself
And my faculties are very friendly and helps me to grow in my career
They also encourage me to do more projects and interships

Likes

Lab facilities for each and every student
Floor wise restroom and ro water facilities
Peaceful environment amazing green campus

Dislikes

College timings 9 am to 5 pm .it must be till 4 pm it is comfort for all

Sona college of technology is the no 1 engineering college at salem . It offers oots of placement while we studying 3rd year . Service based companies like Accenture cisco all have collaboration with sona . Especially highlights of sona is .. students also placed in other countries like japan korea etc..

So This College Also Consists Of 20 Club , These club works under different Theme , Those Who willing Can Join the Club and can develop your own way of interest

Course Curriculum Overview:

The one and only course in engineering Electronic and communication engineering is the only course that offer for working with core and software side is ECE dept. This is the only reason I choose this course and it can improve the electricity,communication, and coding releted works . It helps us to improve all the skills need for all the core and a software companies . ECE students having many vacancies in many various fields . The teaching methods for this course in my college is very very practical so it is very useful to gain more knowledge about this course.

Application forms will be given in the college offline and I received approximately 60000 reservation benefits. Some of the staffs are very strict and harsh to the students. Management are very strict and put fine for simple reasons to the students

Final semester only we can eligible for attending campus placements. Totally 72 companies are recruiting Sona college students yearly. Some of them are Accenture Inc Bangalore, Titan industries limited hosur, cognizant technology Chennai, HCl technology Chennai, HCl infosystems chennai, Elgi equipment limited coimbatore Essar steels limited Surat Salary package of Accenture Inc Bangalore for software engineer salary is 7.4 lakh per year and the experience the need is 7 years And for team lead 16.3 lakh salaries per year and the experience they need is 4-14 years. Salary package of tata consultancy services is for center head is 84.7 lakh per year and 10% employees earn more than 15.39 lakh per year and 1% earn more than a whopping 30 lakh per year. Cognizant technology provides a salary of 21892860 lakh per year for devops engineer/AWS solution architect. Almost 90% of students are getting placement every year. After a critical analysis of Sona College of Technology, my cousin analyzed the pattern followed by the engineering colleges all over India.

Here is what she has to say about her experience from her time as a student of that college:

It is a private college and she strongly advises looking for other, better options.
The faculty is inexperienced and the faculty is not in touch with what they are imparting.
This college is not the right place for foreign students. The students come through counseling and most of them have never heard about IITs or the AIEEE and/or JEE exams. Their IQ is low.
The college system is absolutely horrible. They do not care about your interests or goals.
If you are a foreign student, then go for NITs and/or II(I)Ts. Or you can opt for studying in some country or stay back in your native country.
Most of the teaching staff as well the non-teaching staff verbally abuses the students and more often than not in public.

Despite the college having a good reputation when it comes to providing opportunities, there are a lot of drawbacks.

The faculty demands to be ‘respected’. Some of the teachers pry into the personal lives of their students and use that against them. The staff uses unfair scrutiny while signing records and attendances. They unfairly judge the students and belittle them thus, denting their self-esteem. Partiality is rampant in this institute. No wonder my acquaintance had such a traumatic experience in college.
