Life at Sona

Course contents are more than enough to prepare for gate exams. Very standard materials. Class timing will be 50 mins for each hour. If you listen the class the curriculam will be easy. I would suggest to use main board other than projectors to teach class.

I joined this college by tamilnadu engineering counselling. Im not a dayscholar here. So my total fee here is 1150000. Other than tat we have exam fees for every semester around 3000. If you join by management quota the fee ranges to 150000 and also donation of 2 to 3 lakhs based on the department you ask.

Sports and curriculam are there but not given much concentration. We have weekly 2 hiurs of sports class in 1st sem. Other than after college hours students can play various games . We have a good library here along with seperate library for each depts.

I applied to this only college. In salem band i would say this is rhe best college in all aspects. People from hosur are studying here in large numbers. Though its a tier 2 college ,the staffs are more intelligent and good in student management.

Some staffs seems to be strict here. While others are friendly. The students who impress the staffs by studying skills will have a place in staffs heart. In one semester there will be 3 internal exams both theory and practicals.

Hostelers are not allowed to move after 8pm. But this is not for boys. Boys hostel monitoring is less compared to girls hostel. Pur college is in centre of the city so we have more places around to spend the night. Gym is there . Cafeteria is available at resprctive time. Snacks will be provided.
