Course Curriculum Overview

AI play a lots of roles nowadays.It also plays a major role in our day to day life also . Thats the reason i took this course . 1st year common engineering for all . This year we studying basics of IT . Teaching and teaching methods about real world projects is very good

Sona college of technology is the no 1 engineering college at salem . It offers oots of placement while we studying 3rd year . Service based companies like Accenture cisco all have collaboration with sona . Especially highlights of sona is .. students also placed in other countries like japan korea etc..

Yearly college fees 100000 25000 first Graduation scholarship yearly semester exam fees want to pay .It charges as oer the paper we have write .but not exceeds 5000 rupees without scholarship college course fees is 125000

As well as in academic schedules sona college also encourage students to involve in lots of club like tamil club english club science club maths club ncc nss etc.. Every year sports day also takes place

Admission

I joined sona college of technology by counseling method. First i prefer kongu engineering College erode . But for my cutoff on my community basis i didn't get seat at kongu engineering College. Next college i prefer was sona college of technology i selected for that college

Faculty

Experienced and excellent faculties..everyone is be friendly .. explain a course all time without getting tension . Encourage every student in academic as well as extra curricular activities.. Appointed separate faculty for all students to watch students mental health .

Night Life

The central library in sona college of technology was amazed with its infrastructure.. Students can take book at any time during college hours for study purpose . Swimming pool is located near hostel in sona college of technology

Placement Experience:

top tech companies will come to our campus for replacement some of them are Amazon, JP Morgan, TCS, cognizant according to our skill level, they will choose before applying for any company. And the average placement they offer is 7-10 LPA. You should pass some exams in our college, which is held by our placement cell, so those are pretty much annoying nearly 10 exams they will put just for applying for each company.

Good college

Course Curriculum Overview:

Curriculums are good (it depends on depts) and they are updated and new electives/ cbcs are added thus updating curriculum and there are subject with heavy lab which don't have end sem instead lab and only internal which is not what other colleges have. they also have open book test for subjcts like programming languge so students can focus on learning the language instaed of memorizing. however as we are batch of a new regulation we are not aware of kind of questions that would come. however forthcoming batches won't be having this issue. unlike other collges only 2 internal exams and 1 semester is conducted. both the internal is given equal weightage ( having unit 1&2 and 3&4 for each exams) and retest is also conducted for internal however even if one exam not written they need to write all 4 unit incase of health issues etc. 50% internal and 50% external. so if having good internal can easlity score well in total. However if one fails to secure internal then passing the subject becomes very hard. Core subjects however prepares well for real-world. however i feel curriculums should be slightly revised so that students learn everyhting systematically instead of memorizing. Good internships

Placement Experience:

From 5th semester, if you have required skill sets you can go for internships and placements. There are more than 600 companies that include Tata, Mahindra, Google, Deloitte and many more. Highest package was of 1.2 crores and average package is 8 -9 lakhs. I don't have the exact statistical data but yaa more than 70% students get placed. I am looking for a high pay job after getting the degree

Placement Experience:

They start conducting interviews after completing the 6th semester. At least 6 companies come for the campus placement like tech Mahendra, TCS, and manufacturing companies like sakthi auto-complete, tata motors, etc. They placed a minimum of 150000 per aum. The percentage of students getting placements is 30%. Get a job in a reputed company.
