Life at Sona

Fees and Financial Aid:

I joined this college by tamilnadu engineering counselling. Im not a dayscholar here. So my total fee here is 1150000. Other than tat we have exam fees for every semester around 3000. If you join by management quota the fee ranges to 150000 and also donation of 2 to 3 lakhs based on the department you ask.

Year fees - per year (130000) Exam fee - per sem (5000) Scholarship avil for backward caste and first graduate Extra fee reduction by sports and extra quotas . Councelling fee is 45000 to 50000 . Extra amount is paid for college events around 500 for 6 months

Review about sona

Thw fees structure of the college is ?125000 for counselling and ?160000 for management. They provide scholarship for SC/ST, management scholarship, slorts scholarship etc. There is 7.5 reservation. If the students studied in government school from 6-12th standard they recieve college from government. This is very useful for student who are studied in government school. If the student have their cut off above 190 they no need to pay college fees. They provide chairman fund of ?30000 if the student need. One of my friend studied in government school. The government paying her fees.

The total tution fees for BE program at Sona college of technology Salem is between 200000 and it includes caution fees, registration fees, admission fees, and development fees, kab fees and others. For reservation category the fees will be decreased. For others the fees is between 360000 . They provide a tuition fees waiver of 10000 to 40000 per year for the first year merit students who meet certain academic performance and attendance criteria. They provide a tuition fees waiver of 5000 to 10000 per year for merit cum means scholarship students whose parents annual income is less than 100000 subject to certain conditions. So finally for four years they provide all the fees between 400000 to 500000 I also paid that fees only and I availed reservation of sc category so I paid only between 100000. Apart from government scholarship schemes The management scholarship are available under merit, merit cum means sports, extra curricular, co curricular categories to a sum of INR 35 LPA
