The hostel is the best thing provided in the college.
The placement is nice and we are getting the best company offers from multinational and reputed companies.
Our college has been awarded the 'clean and green campus' by the rotary club of chennapatna for the very clean, green, and beautiful campus providing an excellent ambiance for learning.

Dislikes

we dont have any cultural events to happen,we didn't celebrated any good days like pongal,deepavali they always focus on placements not this extra curricular activities
Rules. Mainly focus on boys and girls should not talk. It is a offence there
Formal dress. All the students should come in formals only the girls must come in chudithar no leggings allowed with pinned dupatta

RMK ENGINEERING COLLEGE - LIFE SETTLED

Likes

Infrastructure is very neat and tidy. Very huge campus. High tech teaching amenities.
Food is excellent. It is also very hygenic.
Teachers are also well experienced and they know what they are doing.

Dislikes

College Bus is very old, almost like a government bus.

Placement Experience:

Placements are excellent in my college. Top tier companies, like Tata, Infosys, etc are hiring from my college. Placements start from 4th year only but highest package is 48LPA and average is 6LPA. A 90% placement record in our college.

Likes

Food bus faculty hod teachings method placements and training skills for the students gives best results and having lot of testes to improve there performance in the exams for there better future of students

Dislikes

There is no sports in ncc they were not giving lot of importance to sports they were only focusing on studies in every time they make stress full to us in every day giving lot of home works in home as well as College

Artificial intelligence and data science courses or well but they were not related to many of the cources in the college we need lot of idea about that course in college but no more talk about aids in our college

I liked the things in rmk college was the rules that they conducted
They encouraged in sports very much every student
Cleanliness is next to godliness I learnt

Dislikes

I disliked some rules in the college they conducted
Boys and girls should not talk was rule I didn't like
Encouragement in the sports compare to education was less

The education system in the college was excellent like how a normal student without any coding skills will learn and that student was able to get job in the final year like wise the curriculum will be in college

In college I liked the rules very much in campus
The education system as well as I liked very

The discipline in our college was excellent
Teachers interaction was excellent I liked more

Facilities , Infrastructure is very excellent and good
Food they provide is greatly healthy both morning and afternoon

Sometimes it feels like there will be more assignments
There is no involvement of sports or any cultural activities

Placements Of My College

Likes

It is a properly managed college campus along with tuition and placement services
Ranked top in cleansed environment and food service
Labs, libraries,classrooms are well-constructed and maintained

Dislikes

College is so strict.They give sometimes insulting punishments.
A reserved place is there for breeding dogs and chickens,It causes unpleasant odour in hostel rooms sometimes
They don't allow hostel students to go out whenever they want,it has so many procedures.

Placement Experience:

From 6th sem students are eligible for placements.Placement is very good in the college, Companies like Amazon,Zoho, Flipkart, Cognizant, Accenture etc hire our students.Over 90 percent of students get some companies.Hope for students without getting placed is government exams or any other job.

Likes

First mostly food , next labs and library, safety for girls
Teachers are also good in some aspects especially in training for placements
Teachers teach well make the students to understand

Dislikes

Gender dominance college is very strict in their ruels
Girls partiality is very high definitely girls can choose this college
They have most rules which irritates students

In my.. college when i was in admission 2023 they said it was 90% placements now its very low its upto 60% in rmk 2024 batch due to some restrictions from uk and us it seems low hope so next year we will have a good placements

RMK Engineering College is affiliated with Anna University and is widely recognized for its academic standards. The institute ranks 30th in Tamil Nadu and 155th for BTech in India by NIRF 2020.

Admission Requirements:

RMK Engineering College offers various educational programs at the undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral levels on engineering and technology. Some of the popular courses at the institute are BTech, BE, MTech, ME, MCA, etc.

The admissions to the UG level courses are made through Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions (TNEA).
The admission process in the PG level courses is through TANCET and GATE.

Faculty:

The institute has a faculty strength of 300 members. The faculties are well-qualified and have years of experience in teaching and research.

Scholarships:

The institute offers 10 scholarships of the value of INR 5,000 each to help the deserving, needy students.
