RCC Institute Of Information Technology Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

Regarding placements, it decent here in RCCIIT. This year the highest package was 8 LPA and the average was 3.5-4 LPA. Many students go for off-campus placement where they get about 5 LPA but many of the students prepare for GATE and CAT examinations also.

4th year students are eligible for campus placements. Approx 30 companies visit our college for campusing. The average package is 12 lac per year. Placement is 70 percent. I shall apply for job campusing. But I must try to qualify in GATE for M.Tech.

Then I got from my seniors that the percentage of placement of our college of good and nearly about 85%. Talking about my future plan, I want to do my M.TECH after the degree. As I am in my first year so have not know everything about placement. I have told everything in this section that I know.

I have no idea about placements yet. Highest package of 8pla and the average package of 4.5pla. 80% of students get placements for sure. Maybe more than 80% also. I will do a job or study M.Tech may be. Not sure yet.

Placement is good in RCC. Mostly it depends on the student's ability to get a job. TCS, CTS, Capgemini and PWC recruits every year. In 2020 our college had good placement and hope to see it continue in the future as well.

The ECE students can also show the flexibility of choosing software field over hardware fiels. Hence, considering the career prospect, ECE is surely a beneficial stream for engineering aspirants. The faculty ratio and student ratio is 1:60. The faculty members are very supportive and helpful. For this pandemic situation, they adopted online teaching mode . There are semester exams per 6 months. If you attend all class of the faculty then you will not face any difficulty in the exam.

After 6th semester students can eligible for campus placement. IBM, contingent, Tata, Wipro, TCS etc. companies come for campus placement and 30% of students get more than one offer. 80% students get placements from here. After getting the degree I will be done Mtech of do the job on any IT company.

From starting of 4th-year student are capable of getting placement in various companies. 60-70% of students got placed. The highest package around 7-8 LPA offered an average package of 3.5 LPA. Companies like TCS, Infosys, Capgemini visit our college.

The college placement cell is very weak. They don't have the capability to call big guns of IT just to take students from their college. Our college always used to participate in off campus placement. The companies which used to come provide very nominal CTC to the students.

There is a placement cell in the institute and we are still in the first year so nothing brief I can't say. But the webinars that we had attempt, from that we have a brief idea that many companies like TCS, Infosys, cognizant etc came here to hire students.
