Why should I join RCPIT?

RCPIT is accredited by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) with an A grade and operates autonomously under Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Technological University (DBATU). Over 50% of the faculty hold PhDs, and many more are nearing completion. RCPIT has a strong research environment with 180+ patents, 750+ research papers, and 250+ published books. RCPIT offers dedicated startup cells and incubation support to encourage innovation and entrepreneurship.

How is the campus life at RCPIT?

RCPIT conducts national and state-level workshops for its students and teaching staff in coordination with IIT Mumbai and ISTRO. Students' social activities are conducted under a separate division called SAKSHAM. Students attendance is of utmost importance in the institute and is conveyed to their parents via SMS. They are also informed regarding their academics, and every department also organizes a parent-teacher conference to discuss the same.

Are there any foreign language courses/training at RCPIT?

RPCIT offers language training in English, Japanese, and German. Students are also prepared for international certifications, including ALTE and JLPT. The institute pays keen attention to the personality development of students. They have also purchased well-known software called Linguaphone and have prepared an advanced language lab. The institute also has ties with training agencies to train students for the GRE, CAT, and TOEFL, along with improving English-speaking skills.

What is the cut-off required for the GOPENS category in MHT-CET for admission in the BTech Computer Engineering Course?

The cut-off for MHT-CET for B.Tech Computer Engineering is between 80 to 79 for GOPENS category students. There are usually 1-2 rounds for filling the seats. However, the number of rounds is subject to seat availability. The total seat intake for the course is 180. The filling of seats is done through CAP, and vacant seats are then filled on a merit basis.

Likes

Best infrastructure and classrooms , practical examples of each subjects and topics
Best computer labs and staff members , and various clubs
college ground and library is too good and digitalized

Dislikes

worst canteen i have ever seen , high prices on low quality food items
Worst examination department , no common sense in exam papers . asks out of the syllabus in examination

after 6th semister student is elegible for campus placements companies comes over there is : zydus , bajaj , capagemini , wipro , hexaware etc higest pakage is 19,94,000 / anual and average package is 4,30,000 / anual 30 % students get placed every year to percive education in IT

Story of RCPIT

Likes

i like the faculties who teach us and very supportive, their teaching method is very unique and vey understandable
i liked the placement opportunities and MNC's
i like about the infrastructure of the campus

Dislikes

i dislike about the timing of the college it is very unique
i dislike about the results they are vey strict about the results
i disliked about the our college cant take any cultural events

we have good placemnt assistance and we have very skillfull and god communicating TPC mr. Mayur Patil sir. in our campus many MNC are come for placemnt and hire the students on an avg package of 300000 to 500000

My dream College RCPIT

Likes

I like the college environment most because students enjoy to being here
The campus placement is good and one can get easily places
The college faculty is good and everyone in college is helpful

Dislikes

The strict rules for attendace and the exam pattern is not so good
The exam pattern and the level of difficulty is moderated
College also prefer for only top graded students who are just good in study but not in practical performance

Placement Experience:

The college has good placement opportunities. Companies like TCS,TSS,HEXAWARE. Etc came to the university for campus placement and they try to hire more and more students for specific job roles. If one could not get placement in 7 th sem then they are trying to get placement in 8 th sem and getting the placements.

College has good placement because our TPC Mayur Patil sir has great communication with MNC's and they are a great mediator
The college has a great campus by which student can easily get the knowledge. students can easily get involved in everything
The college faculties are very good according to us and they are helpful

Dislikes

The college has strict rules about attendance
students did not get better holidays and cultural events as expected
We are facing so many problems such as the late placement, could not focus on our coding career

The placements are good in this college. i am a ui designer so the college is bringing new new opprotunities by which i can get a job which is suitable for me and i can get a perfect average salary of 5 LPA

A review about our Institute-RCPIT

Likes

The college campus is good because there is a good Area for classroom and also it has great faculties
The campus is good and placement is also good and one can easily get the placement based on their skills
All faculties of these college are highly qualified and every faculty is helpful

Dislikes

The college has strict disciplinary rules that everyone has to be attend and that was a burden on students
Students have to attend all lectures and practicals for getting the marks for attendance
80% attendance is the boring thing that college has given us and by which we could not focus more on extra curriculam.

Placement Experience:

Placement in college is average. here one can get average salary package of 2 to 2.5 LPA based on thier skills. If there are students who has hands on Coding and other coding related stuff then you can get a average package of 3.5 LPA. There were several companies like TCS, Accenture, CAPGemini, Hexaware, TSS,Wipro were offering a great package to students

Infrastructure of my college is good. You have a good classroom area, a spacious campus. Here you can get opportunities to many openings
Faculty members are supportive. Even they are very helpful and will properly guide you in each and every step.

Dislikes

Sometimes it was about the backlog exams and result. Student gets frustrated by giving exams
Sometimes it was about college security because they won’t provide as much security you want

Ok i had already mentioned their was opportunity to get placed from college campus because our college provides this all opportunities and which is open after 6th semester of student yest most of software companies and electronics startup are visiting in college as per their requirement they choose students their was highest package is 19th lakhs in last year and near by 90% i think must be selected or get placed from our college plan was Mtech after degree

RCPIT where Dream meets reality

Likes

I like faculty, its curriculum and overall campus placement.
I like the help full nature of faculty. College conduct several programs like robotics and other that was facilitated me a lot.
I loved it library and its ambience besides the availability of mentorship

Dislikes

I dislike the college time it was 9 Am to 5 Pm
I don't like the college uniform policy.

Placement Experience:

College provides 100% placements. Several companies visit for placement like TCS, Mahindra and Mahindr, infosis and many more. Till present date highest package is 15 lakh per annum. Beside, every area around 60-70% students get campus placement.

I like about the supportive nature of the faculty that make you understand every thing easily.
Most important thing that is to be mantion is the classes are well developed with smart screen best laboratory and availability of Computers
The most important thing is college is very strict in Discipline dress code and attendance one mentor is there who will always watch after your attendance your marks and your academic and monthly updates in your parents group about your performance

Dislikes

Campus is not that so big as other engineering colleges have
Sometimes the rules becomes more strict that may irritate you and make you think that you are in college or in schools
Exams pattern is not that effective or well managed or about internal marks that is not also in proper way

Placement Experience:

As we talk before that our college can guarantee placements upto 90 to 95 percentage that is good enough and our lowest package is around 2.5LPA and the highest is 20LPA. Students from semester 6 are eligible for placements companies that visited our college is TCS, Capgemini, Infosys,Assenture, Persistent,Clover Infotech,winjit, Wipro and so on.

Very nice and friendly college

Likes

College campus was wonderful, there are lots of greenary, parking place, a huge building available in college.
Classrooms of college was also wonderful. There are digital boards and air conditioners in each classroom.
Library was also full of books with course related and general books.

Dislikes

Teaching faculty was not much friendly as they should be.
Fees was little high for many middle class and low class students.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I was an electrical diploma student to enhance my qualifications I was admitted to Bachloers. We have 60 students in our class with 6 faculty. All faculty members have completed their master's with good experience. There are 2 main exams per year, which are for semester one and semester two respectively.
