Gce keonjhar offers a b.tech program at ?140,000 with scholarships like national, post-matric, and pragati available.
Placement is very good special for mining branch placement is done in various reputed companies like vedantu,tata steel and adani with very high package.
Faculities are so good here. i like this way they teach us.

Dislikes

First thing i disliked is the hostel food the qualities of this foods are so much bad . according to fees we paid for this.
First thing that im going to dislike is that the hostel foods its so much bad . and the qualities are also so much bad
- i have stayed in mess during 2nd year and its the worst experience so i will suggest all to stay in hostel.

Likes

The college is located at very good environment.
The Fee structure is good in this college.
The placement is quite good in this college.

Dislikes

This college recruit most guest faculty instead of permanent faculty.
The main Problem is there is no field for any sports.
The infrastructure of this college is not so good.

Course Curriculum Overview:

There are several vacancy out per year in mining and extraction field and also this course help a lot in government exam so i choose this course. The practical classes of this college help me a lot for real field work. The teachers must prepare a handmate note and give hardcopy to student for their better understanding. There are 4 internals and 2 semester exam conduct per year . You have to maintain 75% of attendance.

Best college for mining engineering

Likes

Good lecturer and labs with smart equipment
Exposure to real world problem and practical knowledge
Good placement with high package and internship opportunity

Dislikes

Small campus size with less facility and shops
No neat and clean sorrounding everywhere there is broken things are there.
No market near college and no medical facility either

Placement Experience:

Placement is very good special for mining branch placement is done in various reputed companies like vedantu,tata steel and adani with very high package. Minimum 70 to 80 percent students get placed with good package every year. I plan to take my placement after graduation.

The placement of this college is very good.
The fees of this college is good for which more student afford this college.

The main problem is no book store in college.
The infrastructure of this college is not so good.

Placement Experience:

After 6th semester student are eligible for sit in campus placement. The companies such as Tata, vedanta, gmdc etc are visited to the college per year and there are 30 to 50 no of offers give to student. The highest package is 1600000 rs per year and the average package is 300000 ts per year. 50 -60 % final students are placed per year. After getting degree i want to do higher study.

I liked the college campus, fests and clubs.
I liked the beauty of the nature, placements.
I liked the faculty, sports and festivals that observed.

Dislikes

I disliked the condition of the college road.
There is no wifi connection in hostel and college.
There is poor hygiene and no water supply in the college.

Placement Experience:

From seventh semester students become eligible for campus placements. Names of the company visited such as tata power, Jsw, Mahindra, Intellipat and so on. Highest package is 14 lacs . Companies also offered stipend.

Likes

Faculties are well knowledged.the way all they teach is good
Placements are not so good.For an average students is quite difficult.
Labs are well equiped.all the equipments are there in the respective labs.

Dislikes

Clubs are not there except Raw and dance
College Timing is not proper. From 9am to 5 pm we got to College.
Washrooms are not cleaned even water supply is not provided properly in the washrooms.

Placement Experience:

7th semester students are eligible for campus placements. Tata power,Intellipat,TCS,Infosys,Vedanta,Imfa and many more. Highest package from all the branch is 19lpa for mining Branch. Maximum students are getting placed.

I liked environment in this college and the campus is pollution free
The campus area big and the canteenis big
The teachers are very good and helpful in all cases

Dislikes

The wifi servuce in this college is very bad
The food availabe in the mess is also vey bad
The market is very far from the college .

From the 6th semester a student can sit for placements and you have to pass all your semester exams with flying colors . there are 20 companies visited previous year and there was 80 percent placement ratio in electrical branch. After 6 semstem students are eligible for placement for campus placement according to their eligibility criteria. TATA, Imfa, Zenos, Vedant, Adani are visited to our college for campus placement and there are 30 to 40 seats offer to the students by the company. The highest package is 1600000 and the average package is 400000. There are 40 to 50 % of the students got placed every year. After getting degree i want to do job or higher study .

Likes

I liked keonjhar town and besides that there's nothing much in this college to like.
Annual sports meet which happens every year
Utkarsh festival of our college which is okay.

Dislikes

Starting from it's food to it's location there's nothing to like.
There's a lot of network problem in hostel and college.
The strict and hippocracy of lectures and faculties.

Placement Experience:

After 7th semester we get placements and the companies which give placements are tata, vedant, intellipat. The average package is 2 lakhs per annum. You could say that im terms of placement this college is a bit below average.
