Course Curriculum Overview

There are several vacancy out per year in mining and extraction field and also this course help a lot in government exam so i choose this course. The practical classes of this college help me a lot for real field work. The teachers must prepare a handmate note and give hardcopy to student for their better understanding. There are 4 internals and 2 semester exam conduct per year . You have to maintain 75% of attendance.

Class Size: 70Course Fees: INR 27430 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees structure of this college depends upon the odisha government because the college run under the skill and development department of odisha government. The complete fees of the education is 27500 Rs per year. State scholarship- 20000 to the obc and general student and 40000 to St and sc student. The campus employment is very good.

The students celebrate saraswati puja, Ganesh puja, Republic Day, Independence day, Branch feast ,Annual Function, alumuni meet per year,. Every journal book is present in this college library. There are one smart LED board and one project in ecah classroom. Sports competition like Running, mini marathon, high jump, long jump, indoor game, cricket etc held per year. Some student join dance club, singing club and robotics club for their knowledge in that field.

Hostel Facilities

There are 3 students accomodate in a room in hostel and one table, one bed and one rack is available for each and every student. The meal quality of this hostel is moderate. The registration process of the hostel admission is completed in 3 steps that is form fillup, payment and form submit,. The first year hostel is better than senior hostel.

Hostel Fee: INR 47500 per year

Admission

The student must clear 12th exam with science stream and also clear joint entrance examination. The application form, application fees and application dates are found in college website. There are 4 internals and 2 semester happened per year and there are no overlap between college exam and government exam. The payment process must be improve to do admission easily.

Course Curriculum Overview:

For csit the subjects kee changing accroding to the trendy stuffs that are currently going on but it was really hard to keep with that when all your subjects are changed and you have o idea or previous year qs to geta reference from. Exams are conducted continously with no gaps and its not a easy stuff students get lot of stress but still somehow manage.

A Complete Review of KIIT University from a Student's View

Placement Experience:

The placement opportunities at KIIT are quite good, especially for us the CSE students.The eligibility criteria for campus placements starts from 7th semester. Many well-known companies visit the university every year like TATA Consultancy Services , Infosys, Wipro, Accenture and Capgemini.The average package offered is around 6-8 lakhs and highest package offered around per yr avg is 50-60 lakhs.The percentage of students getting placements is around 90% plus in average per yr. After completing my degree, i plan to work in software industry and gain more experience in the field of technology

KIIT:place where students chase their dreams.

Placement Experience:

From 6th semester onwards companies visit campus and recruit students for internship. This internship season goes upto entire 7th semester. Many companies like amazon Deloitte cognizant and many other startups visited the campus.highest package was 42lpa and average package for computer science was 9 lpa. Around 70 percent student got placed.i want to get a good job in a good company.

Placement Experience:

I would rate the placements at my college as 3 out of 5. Students usually become eligible for campus placements from the sixth or seventh semester, and a few well-known companies do visit the campus every year. The placement cell helps with basic training like resume building and interviews, and many students, especially from IT branches, manage to secure jobs. At the same time, the average salary packages are not very high and top roles are limited, so a lot of students also focus on skill development, off-campus opportunities or higher studies after completing their degree

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for placement from their 3rd year onwards. It has been only 2-3 months but I have seen several companies arriving at the college, prominent ones being Flipkar,Deloitte, Xerox, TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Microsoft, Dell and several others including startups. There is no accurate data on how many offers have been made this year, but there are rumours that more than 95% of the eligible students have got placements. After getting a degree my plans are if I dont land into a satisfying job then I will start my preparation of the military or start a new business.

Students after completing 6th semester are given chances to do internship and convert it to ppo A total of around 60 companies visited the campus last year. For core branches tata power ,jsw offers a lot of jobs in tech roles tcs capegemini and other service based companies hires. Also cisco hires via there hiring process. Student have also grabbed placement at amazon and ib like credit suisse and goldman sachs previously. Around 60% students are getting placed every year Last year a total of 650 offers are made. So its better to get a job via campus placement rather than trying off-campus

Big tech companies like ,amazon, samsung, Capgemini,minetree,infosis,adani wlvisit the campus. The highest package offered in 52 lpa The average package in KIIT is around 6-8lpa And the lowest package offered in 3 lpa. So overall you will have a nice exposure to tech and industrial space and can grab some decent placements.

Placement Experience:

Placements in our college are good but not great. Th overall performance of students getting placement from every branch course combined is more than seventy percent. But the percentage in branch to branch respective wise is different , as Computer science engineering, Electronics and Telecommunications Engineering and Electrical Engineering have higher placement rates than any other courses. From Seventh semester students became eligible for sitting in placements. You can say from the start of Fourth year students sit in placements. Many companies visit and offer placements to our students but the big companies are TCS( Tata consultancy services) , Infosys, Adani Limited , Reliance Limited , Tata Power and Co.. The highest package offered to our branch course ( Electrical Engineering ) Is 13 LPA by Tata Power. The percentage of students getting placed by Electrical Engineering is pretty good and is 77%. Overall percentage of students from all branches is 72%. My plans after getting the degree is simple. I am preparing for placements and also for gate exam . I want to give myself a chance . I will try to get a big placement from a big company as I want . If that doesn't go according to my plan I will try to qualify gate exam and will do Masters in Technology in a. Higher Institute.

Life of a student in government college of engineering keonjhar

You have to give jee mains and ojee examination to get admission in our college. As my rank was not upto the mark to get admission into vssut or outer but I was fortunate enough to get admission into this college. I would recommend this college if your rank is between 1.5lakh and above. This is the best college you will get in this rank in terms of placements .
