I liked keonjhar town and besides that there's nothing much in this college to like.
Annual sports meet which happens every year
Utkarsh festival of our college which is okay.

Dislikes

Starting from it's food to it's location there's nothing to like.
There's a lot of network problem in hostel and college.
The strict and hippocracy of lectures and faculties.

Course Curriculum Overview

Our college is said to be one of the best in electrical engineering branch in Odisha but it's just what is said. Yes, there are facilities but faculties don't give you marks and are unhelpful in many aspects. However, there are some professors who are willing to help you out sometimes.

Class Size: 70Course Fees: INR 27430 per year

Internships Opportunities

It varies widely depending upon year to year. Generally college often collaborate with local companies, institution or governmental organisation to offer internship to their students. These internships can be in various fields.

Placement Experience

After 7th semester we get placements and the companies which give placements are tata, vedant, intellipat. The average package is 2 lakhs per annum. You could say that im terms of placement this college is a bit below average.

Fees and Financial Aid

You can get all the scholarships that you can find in the government scholarship portal if you are eligible for it. But before you submit your applications to the scholarship section you have to get a signature from your HOD that you have maintained 75% attendance which is a lot of hassle.

Campus Life

The infrastructure of the whole campus is garbage. There are just buildings spread everywhere without a good architectural plan. There are 3 clubs namely for robotics, coding, and dance. You do not find anything around 2 km of the college radius. The road inside 2km from this college is the mind-breakingly worst.

Admission

It involves filling out an application form that is available to you online. The Cutoff scores are set on students' competitive pool and available slots which vary from 70 to 100. The Cutoff scores vary from year to year.

Placements are definitely there for coaching centres in my branch. Many big and reputed coaching institutions like akash, byjus etc came for recruitment. More R & D comapnis can be included. the nterview process and the packages were decent for the role offered.

The technical background and future influenced me to choose this course. The preparation for real-world applications or further academic pursuits are average. Theres no fair improvement needed in the course curriculum and teaching methods. The frequency of the exams are 2 sem exams and 4 quiz in class exams. Life of a student in government college of engineering keonjhar

You have to give jee mains and ojee examination to get admission in our college. As my rank was not upto the mark to get admission into vssut or outer but I was fortunate enough to get admission into this college. I would recommend this college if your rank is between 1.5lakh and above. This is the best college you will get in this rank in terms of placements .
